*Camilo's POV*

I woke up feeling like it's the happiest day of my life. I can finally confess to my y/n. I eavesdropped on Mirabel and her conversation last night and Mirabel told her that I like her, and I was gonna confess today. I gotta go to school earlier than them so I could tell Eji about confessing to her. Ah, he'd be so furious, wouldn't he? After eating breakfast I left Casita and walked to school. Coincidentally I saw Eji nearby and walked to him.

Camilo - 'Uh hey Eji!'

Eji - 'What do you want?'

Camilo - 'Well I'm gonna confess to y/n today and I wanted to ask for some tips, since a lot of girls like you.'

Eji - 'Hah, like she'd accept. Act like a man before you even dare to confess to someone as nice as y/n. She wouldn't like you, estúpido.'

Camilo - 'Oh okay, thanks for your tip though.'

Eji - 'Whatever.'

He didn't even look jealous, which is quite surprising. But I know he'll plan something. I continued to walk to school and saw Mirabel and y/n talking as usual. I hid behind a tree and sorta followed them, good thing they didn't notice though. They walked inside the classroom and I put the letter inside y/n's locker. I walked inside the classroom and Mirabel gave me a slight wink. I knew what she meant and I just stared at her.

*y/n's POV*

As Camilo sat next to me, I stared at his hazel eyes. I remember what Mirabel said to me yesterday.

-Flashback-

y/n - 'Okay Mirabel, what did he say?'

Mirabel - 'He said that he likes you. I'm officially shipping you and Camilo! You guys are like a perfect couple honestly.'

y/n - 'Huh, I bet you told him to confess to me right away tomorrow if that's the case..'

Mirabel - 'Hey I can tell that you're blushing! But yes I did tell him that. Also I think I know who that mysterious murderer is.'

y/n - 'Who? It definitely isn't Camilo judging by the looks.'

Mirabel - 'I know, but it looks closest to this one guy called Eji. He's from your bestie, Cristina's class, and apparently he also likes you.'

y/n - 'I swear if he dares to hurt Camilo-'

Mirabel - 'Awww look at you being a protective future girlfriend!'

y/n - 'shut up.'

I slightly blushed and looked away. I'm worried that this Eji guy will hurt my bestie or just anyone. I mean, I barely interacted with Camilo and he likes me? I guess that's normal for the people in the Encanto. The teacher stepped in the classroom and we started our lessons. It gets more and more boring as day passes. I mean, we're simply teaching the same thing over and over again. It was finally lunch break and I knew Camilo must've put a letter in my locker so I opened it and found one. I was clearly not surprised and didn't even read the whole thing. I just checked for the time and put it back in the locker I saw Mirabel and I decided to get revenge by scaring her.

Mirabel - 'What was that for??'

y/n - 'Just getting revenge after some giftless individual scared me twice the first few days we met.'

Mirabel - 'Heyy I'm sorry okay? Also, what did my primo write in that letter?~'

y/n - 'Didn't bother to read it, I mean I already know it's him so I only checked for the time. He said to go to the tree located next to the school at 3 pm.'

Mirabel - 'My primo is very clingy and will barely let you go by the way'

y/n - 'I've experienced worse relationships than that.'

Mirabel - 'Oh okay, I hope he survives that Eji person.'

y/n - 'Oh if he doesn't I'll beat Eji up. But probably no, if he gets hurt he could just go to your mamá for her delicious arepas.'

It was like ages later when lunch break was over and we went back to class. School eventually ends. Finally my suffering for the day is over. I met up with Cristina as usual.

y/n - 'Hey!'

Cristina - 'Hi y/n!'

y/n - 'Uhh you know this Eji guy in your class right?'

Cristina - 'Yea, what about him? Like half of the girls in my class LOVE him.'

y/n - 'Well they shouldn't, this guy literally killed Marco, and he's probably gonna kill Camilo today.'

Cristina - 'I don't think he could even hurt one of the Madrigals. But why does he want to kill Camilo though?'

y/n - 'Let's say that Camilo wants to confess to me today, and Eji apparently likes me so he wants to kill the guys who confess to me.'

Cristina - 'Oh gee, but hey, you're pretty lucky that Camilo likes you, you are one of the closest friends with the Madrigals, so I don't think anyone would dare hurt ya.'

y/n - 'Okay I'm gonna go, talk to you tomorrow!'

Cristina - 'See ya! And good luck with the confession!'

I walked back to Casita with Mirabel. She and her cousins decided to give me a makeover. I look like a different person! Time passes by and.. it's almost time for the confession.
