>> Some days I wish I could take holidays. Just like almost everyone does. I want to visit a good restaurant. Just durable clothes would be also a nice thing to have. But I can't have that. I was born without money. And still there is no money left for me. I work all day several jobs just so I can have a very small room for myself. There isn't much furniture in it. Guess why. You are right. Those plates won't get clean if I just think about my problems. I need the money. So, keep going. Otherwise, I won't get my payment. "Adeline? Is it ok for you to do the dishes I should do? I need to see the doctor in 10 minutes. "I looked at the amount of dishes she needs to clean. I am sure it is twice as much as I still have. My shift is ending soon. And the next shift at the grocery store is about to begin. "I am so sorry, but I really can't.", I apologized. At the beginning she showed me a smile. But I can see that she doesn't like my answer. "I waited so long for this appointment. It is not that much. Right, John?" She looks over to him. But he is not even listening. I guess she forgot that he is deaf. "Anyways. I've got to go. See you tomorrow!" I am sure that she isn't going to see the doctor. I haven't studied medicine. But she isn't showing any signs of a disease and also, I am sure that there is no need to see the doctor every second day. "You can be sure, that I won't do your job this time! I am sick of it. If you don't want this job, you can quit! Seems like you don't even need the money. I can tell that by looking at your shoes. I mean who comes here to clean dishes in high heels covered in glitter?" Alessia turns around. She probably can't believe that I spoke up. "You better watch your mouth! I am sure that you are going to lose your job if I go to our boss." The door opens and a young man comes in. "Alessia, I've been waiting outside. What does it take you so long? Don't you want to go to the diner?" I stare at Alessia. I knew that she lied! "Since when work doctors at the diner?" I turn around to finish my job. I already lost enough time here. <<
