Normal POV

All four turtles had a long rough day. It started out normal with a regular morning patrol until they ran into Meat Sweats and all got beaten badly. While they were making there way back to the lair, they all ran into the Foot Clan and had another beating.

Everyone wasn't really on there A-game today. Especially Raphael, who kept getting distracted by the blue masked slider turtle.

The snapping turtle always had a crush on his close friend, but he wasn't sure why. Was it is cringy jokes? His huge smile that he'd get to see everyday? His "mad skills"? Raphael just couldn't figure it out. All he knew is that he had a huge crush on the cocky turtle.

Later on that evening, while everyone was healing up, Raphael decided to ask Leonardo to hang out. Luckily, he accepted and told there Sensie that they were going out for a midnight rooftop run.

After a few hours of chatting and running around, the two turtles finally came to a stop on a high building and sat down to rest. They both were still laughing and giggling while taking deep breaths.

"Aw man! That was the best fun I've ever had!" Leonardo exclaimed as he stretched his arms up in the air.

Raphael chuckled in response as he looked up at the sky. "Yeah. We should do this more often huh?"

Leonardo grinned as he layed himself down on the concrete with his hands behind his head and crossed his legs. "Yep. We don't spend enough time together!" He said as he gestured for Raphael to lay next to him.

Raphael took the gesture and layed himself down as he rested his hands on his plastron. They both sighed out as they finally calmed down from there previous rush of laughter.

There was a long moment of silence. A cold breeze came through which made Leonardo shiver a little. Raphael noticed this and glanced at the blue cladded turtle.

"You cold?" He asked.

"A little. I'm fine though." Leonardo reassured/lied as he rubbed his arms, trying to keep himself warm.

Raphael sighed as he, without warning, sat up and carefully grabbed Leonardo by the arm, surprising him a bit. Raphael dragged him over and sat him on his lap as he wrapped his huge arms around the smaller turtle. "Warmer...?" He asked with a blush on his face.

Leonardo could only nod in response. He didn't really know what to say. He was used to cuddling with the whole group but this felt different. A faint blush started to appear on his face.

There was another long silence until Raphael spoke up again with a question Leonardo was not expecting.

Leonardo's POV

"Hey, Leo...?" Raph spoke up.

I looked back as him and slightly gripped his arm to tell him I was listening.

"Have you ever liked someone but was never sure why?" He asked as he rested his head on top of mine.

I was silent for a few seconds until I responded. "You too huh..?" I was happy yet somewhat disappointed to hear what he had asked.

On one hand, he could be talking about me. On the other hand, Mikey. Why Mikey you ask? They act like the best of friends sometimes. Raph is almost always near him. I know it feels like Raph's duty to protect the little guy because he's the youngest but I can't help but feel jealous sometimes...

"You... have a crush..?" He asked, bringing ne out of my thoughts.

"Yeah. It's not important though." I said, brushing it off. I heard him sigh as the weight on my head felt a bit heavier.

And once again, silence filled the atmosphere. Another chilly breeze came by, making me snuggle closer to Raph.

My eyes started to slowly close as I rested my head on Raph's plastron. I could feel him shift a little as his head was lifted up off mine.

"Leo."

"Yeah?"

"I need to tell you something."

My eyes opened up again as I looked up to face Raph. I wasn't able to see his expression because he was looking up at the sky.

"What is it?" I asked, hoping he'd look back down at me.

He didn't.

"This is really important.. promise you wont get mad or grossed out..." He said as his head slowly lowered to look at a building ahead of us.

I chuckled and patted the bigger turtles plastron. "Remember Raph, there's nothing grosser than the way Mikey eats pizza." I joked.

I heared a little laugh from him which made me smile. Both his voice and his laugh always made me feel a certain feeling.

"Okay, Leo, I..."
