CHAPTER 1
The answer she had always given was 18.
2 years 8months later...
She had lied. Now she was 16 and cautiously dragging a black bag down the street, making sure it didn't tare. Her friend was lucky enough to drive in the late hours of August 4.
~~~ The lead up to him... 2years 8months prior.
It had always been there like it was watching my every move, pulling me inches closer to the gates since the day I spotted it. I would walk past on my way home from school sometimes; it looked at me.
The sign was never clear what happened beyond the gates, people with uniform strutted in and out not batting an eye to anyone not of their own kind.
We had walked past it for weeks and yet on November 21st 2022 thats where it all started, she had dragged me inside.
