Three | Shopping

"Is it good?" I ask Dal and she nods eating more of the dinner I made.

She ate it all making me smile and I wiped her cheek that had sauce on and she got off of her chair to sit on my lap and she hugged me.

"I love you mommy, thank you for making dinner."

I rub her back and kiss the top of her head. "Your welcome baby and I love you more."

I stand up with her in my arms and go to the living room. I ask her what movie she wanted on and she said Nemo while she got out some paper and pencils and came to sit next to me.

I watched her eyes go back and forth from the movie and what she was drawing as I played with her hair gently. I admired my baby girl for the whole movie but occasionally glanced at what she was drawing and whenever she looked at me I gave her a smile and kissed her cheek.

"Mommy look." She held my arm and showed me what she drew.

"Wow, can you tell me who they are?" Watched her smile and nod.

"This is you," she pointed at a stick man that was drawn with a blue pencil. "Me," she pointed at a smaller version of me but drawn in green. "Uncle MinMin and auntie Lia," she drew the idiotic duo in yellow and holding hands and with a red love heart above the both of them which made me grin. "And this is Luo, our future dog." She pointed at a fur ball next to the drawing of a house.

"Who's this?" I point at a stick man drawn in black that's standing next to me with a bunch of red hearts around him.

"That's the man whoever you marry." Her eyes glistened. "And who will be my dad..." her cheeks turned a little red and I pull her into my embrace.

"I love you."

"I know you do." She pulls away and wipes my cheek. "You love me so much that- that I don't need a dad." She smiles. "You love me so~ much." She jumps onto me and I smile.

"I do. I love you more than anything."

"Y/N call off work today and meet me at the mall, we're shopping for bridesmaids dresses."

I sigh hearing my mothers voice echo in my car. "I'm literally on my way to work right now, I'm less than 2 minutes away."

"Good, tell your boss that you can't stay today but you can do overtime tomorrow to make up for today."

"Mom."

"Do it." She hung up and I clenched my jaw.

I don't want to do overtime again after standing my ground a few days ago.

"Morning Y/N." Chan hugs me and I lay my head on his shoulder.

"Morning. I won't be staying today because I have to go shopping with my mom." I pulled away.

"Good luck with her, she's a handful." He grimaced.

"Tell me about it." I make my way to the elevator and press the floor Mr Jeon's office is on.

I knock on his door once I'm in front of it and he tells me to come in.

"I'm sorry to say Mr Jeon but I can't work today. My mother called and said I have to go shopping with her for my brothers wedding."

"Ditching work for shopping?" He stops typing on his computer.

"If you have something against it then call my mother, I can't be doing with it today." I turn on my heel and grab the doorknob.

"One condition—"

"Overtime tomorrow, I know." I leave his office and go back to my car and drive as quick as I can to get to the mall.
