last breath
and yet i sit there
hood up
eyes red and puffy
hands shaking
i step up upon the ledge with a note in my pocket saying sorry
tears fall from my chin as i look over the ledge
i turn around
close my eyes
take a deep breath
and lean backsuddenly everything moves much slower
my hand reach back from the ledge as if i have a small amount of regret
my hair flies past my face
the wind hugs me so tightly
i am so scared but also finally safe
i take my last breath as i black out
and there it was my whole life gone
no more pain. i was safe
