Monsen High School was known for being a mixing bowl of cliques.
There were the jocks, the nerds, the goths, and so on. You know, that old chestnut. The same story we heard at least once in our lives.
But yet here I am.
Here I am to tell you about the Normals.
We Normals don't particularly have a group or clique, we are usually just there siting in the back of the room.
We don't excel at any particular sport. Nor will anyone truly miss us when we leave high school. The Normals are just here for the ride, ready for things to end or to change.
So, why hasn't anyone ever heard our side of the story? How come the tale is always focused on other groups?
To be honest, I'm not really sure myself.
But today, that will change.
Today, you will learn about the Normals.
