"Mr. Casenders, please dismiss Vera Ascengots at this time."

My name was called over the speaker in the Spanish room, earning the attention of everyone. As the heads turned to look at the strange girl who sat quietly in the back, I gathered my materials and headed to the front of the room. Mr. Casenders, my decently handsome middle-aged teacher, waited patiently for me with his arms crossed over his chest. "Vera," he mumbled, handing me the three page packet that was due for tomorrow. "Get it done on time please." His tone was cautionary, warning me not to "forget" about my assignment.

I nodded and left the foreign language room as soon as physically possible.

When I reached my beat up, butter-colored locker, I dumped my school supplies into it, the Spanish assignment included. I sighed to myself, throwing my violet colored backpack over my shoulder once again.

Why was I being dismissed from class early?

Because after yesterday's incident with my personal therapist, Doctor Phillip Enrichvon, he had demanded to see me immediately. Giving my mother a permission slip to get me out of school early.

Joy.

I absolutely despised therapy. But hey, who was I to complain about getting out of school in the middle of my worst class?

I blew the black bangs from my face whilst I quickly ran for the stairs in order to exit the building.

It was only the second day of school and I was ready to justify ripping someone's head off. Which was not a good thought, especially for a "highly stressed" teenage girl.

I rolled my eyes at the thought. And with a small grunt of annoyance, I was out the front doors and free again. My previous anger and irritation for Al was throw away, even if he had called me a lesbian. Which was beyond irritating. But at the moment, I felt as if I were freed from the invisible shackles holding and imprisoning me. This feeling let me breath like a regular person, or that was until I entered the Junior's parking lot.

I abruptly stopped walking through the large parking lot when my eyes spotted a hooded figure near my car. The person who was close to my car appeared to be squatting next to it, holding some sort of metal object in their hands. It was then that I realized the object was a metal crowbar and this hooded asshole was trying to break into my car.

I growled under my breath, approaching the figure.

Once I stood behind the figure, I cleared my throat loudly.

The person kept prying at my driver's door, ignoring me.

"Hey, asshole." I casually tapped the figures left shoulder, not really caring if the unknown being was a full-blown psycho.

This action however, did get the figure's attention. The person stood up, only to slowly grow and tower over me. Throwing his hood down to reveal his pale completion and messily styled hair, he let the crowbar fall limply next to his side. "Can I help you?" He asked, as if he were bothered by my presence.

I snorted, glaring up at him. "What the hell are you doing?" I placed a hand on my hip.

The boy before me shrugged his shoulders lazily. Then he bit at the piercing on the right side of his bottom lip. "Jacking your car." He admitted bluntly, throwing the crowbar over his shoulder.

My mouth opened and closed quickly. "W-what?" I knew full well what this man was doing, it just shocked me how open he was about it.

"I was breaking into your car."

"Yeah no shit," I grumbled, pushing past him to interpose him and the driver's door to protect it in some way. "But why my car?" I lightly patted my old, rusting Volkswagen Beetle with my hand. It was nothing special compared to other cars here. "Have you not seen the other vehicles?"

The boy nodded, but shrugged lazily once more. "Yeah I know your car is a piece of shit." His grey eyes stared half-lidded down at me, appearing to be annoyed when I spoke. "But you left your Mac in the backseat." He tapped the backseat window lightly with his crowbar, referring to my laptop. "And I wanted it." When he was finished, he took his pierced lip between his teeth again.

"Since I was in a hurry this morning, I forgot it in my car." I said mostly to myself.

I would make a metal note not to leave anything expensive in my car again.

"You realize I could call the cops now, right?" I asked him, digging in my jean's pocket for my cellphone to prove my point.

Then, the pale boy smirked sinisterly at me. He rose an eyebrow at me before chuckling his words out. "Go ahead. Not only do you not know my name, but you also don't have any proof. So please, knock yourself out."

"I've seen your face, and there are cameras around the school."

"I disabled the cameras." He spoke as if disabling a camera was the easiest thing in the world.

"I've still seen your face."

"Good for you." He sneered. "You need a prize."

I grunted in annoyance, loosing a silent battle. "Go away." Was all I could muster due to my apparent defeat.

"With pleasure." He hastily turned around and headed in the opposite direction.

I watched him walk off. He threw his hood back over his head whilst he carried the crowbar in one hand and reached into his jean's pocket with the other. He stopped for a moment to place what looked like a cigarette up to his lips. He lit it, and took a long drag.

I sighed, seeing the smoke waft into the air. "Hey," I called loudly to get his attention.

He turned to me, blowing out a cloud of smoke.

"If you want to jack someone's car, try the red pickup to the right of you. The guy who owns it has got a leather wallet on his dashboard and an iPad under the backseat." I told him whilst shoving my backpack into the car's backseat. "Not that I was looking or anything." I said, throwing myself into my little blue car, driving away without giving the boy another glance.

Little did I know, the boy was smirking behind his cigarette.

And thus, another chapter is born after like almost two months.

Has it really been that long?

Ugh, I know I keep repeating myself but once again...I'm sorry for such a late post.

School started only a month ago, and I'm already done with that shit. I guess you can say that I am really relating to how Vera is feeling right now. As I am sure many of you also are.

But again, another quick apology. Sorry. School and practice have been getting to me. Literally my schedule after school now is practice, go home, eat, do homework, shower, and sleep. Like fucking clockwork. It seems I have no time to do anything anymore, but I know I'm not alone in this department.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed another chapter. And this time I swear, you will get an update before next month lol.

Love ya,

- S
