you yelled as you started to tear up. why couldn't he understand?? why couldn't he just accept that you weren't ready to come out to anyone else yet, especially to your parents. karma had no problem when you guys were first dating 6 months ago, so why is he suddenly getting angry now and yelling at you??
you were fuming, your hands balled up into fists. you weren't always a person who could deal with anger, and karma knew that. you hated when people yelled at you, especially when it was your boyfriend. you hated the thought of people being disappointed in you, you hated the thought of disappointing people, so many thoughts were running through your head right now, you thought you would go crazy.
"YOU SAID YOU WERE FINE ABOUT THE FACT THAT I WASN'T OUT TO EVERYONE,WHY ARE YOU SO MAD NOW???"
"BECAUSE IT'S NOT THAT HARD, IT'S JUST 3 WORDS. GET OVER IT."
you couldn't believe the words that were coming out of his mouth right now. it's not that hard?? get over it??? it was hard when you had parents constantly setting you up with girls, even though you weren't into girls. it was hard when your parents were openly homophobic in front of you, not knowing their son that they were spewing those hurtful words to, was gay. it was hard crying to sleep some nights because you knew your parents would be disappointed in you because you were something they despised.
but karma didn't seem to understand that.
"IT'S NOT THAT HARD??? GET OVER IT??? OH MY GOD, YOU'RE SO IGNORANT AND IMPATIENT. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE KARMA I WAS DATING 6 MONTHS AGO???"

you didn't know where karma got the idea that you were painting him as the bad guy, or if he even realized what he said, but you didn't care. ' why be with someone who can't even accept my decisions? ' you thought as you stared at karma with tears rolling down your eyes. the silence between you guys were loud, hearts beating fast with rain pouring down on the both of you.
"you're right, let's break up then." you said as you walked away.
you didn't know if karma processed what you said, or if he didn't have the energy to run after you, but he just stood there. stood there as you walked away, as all of the memories between you guys disappeared.
and that was the last time you saw karma after a long time.
