Maizono and Ikusaba
"A body has been discovered! Everyone, please gather on the beach. After a certain amount of time which you can use however you'd like, the trial will begin!"
It's that announcement that wakes Maizono from her rest.
She groans, sitting straight up in her bed to glare at the monitor. 'Wait, did he just say a body was discovered?'
She then looks down at the band on her wrist. "It's deactivated. . ."
Maizono pulls herself out of bed, throwing on the first clothes she finds and trying in vain to smooth down her hair before dashing outside and making her way down to the beach.
Everyone else is already gathered there by the time she arrives, everyone staring blankly into the water.
"Who-"
Maizono cuts herself off, looking down at the body of Tanaka Gundham bobbing in the water.
"Oh. . .I'm going to be sick."
She turns away from the group, stomach convulsing as she doubles over. Ikusaba is by her side in an instant, rubbing her back and murmuring soothing words.
"Nyahahaha! It looks like we finally got our first body!" Monokuma pops up, laughing his ass off, "Awww, poor Gundham. But I guess that means we're going to be having a trial!"
"A-A trial?" Fukawa stammers.
"But of course! You can't get away with murder unless you survive the trial, dummy. You'll all gather in the trial room to work out together who did it. If you vote correctly, congratulations! But if not, well. . .But before the heart-racing excitement of the trial, we first need to investigate! Everyone, please turn your attention towards your Monopads!"
Maizono straightens out her back, pulling out the little device.
Monokuma File
The victim was Tanaka Gundham. The estimated time of death is 1:20 am. The body was discovered in the ocean at 1:30 am early morning on Day Four. He has large stab wounds all over his chest.
Maizono looks back over at the grinning robotic bear.
"Well, that's that then. Happy investigating!"
He leaves.
Akamatsu forces a shaky smile. "Well then. . .let's get started, guys."
Investigation Start!
"Monokuma File 1" has been added to Maizono Sayaka's Monopad.
"Where do we even start?" Kiibo wonders.
Kirigiri sighs. "The body and the area around it. And if any clues lead us to a secondary location, we go there as well. If you see something interesting, make a note. There appears to be a section in our Monopads for that."
"It probably doesn't matter how you prefer to investigate. Just get it done." Saihara agrees.
Ikusaba shares a look with Maizono. "Want to investigate together?" She offers.
Maizono nods. "Alright. . .I'm not sure I can get through this alone anyway."
The black-haired girl grabs her hand and squeezes it, making the other exhale. "I'm glad we can touch again at least. . .Hey, do you think someone's Forbidden Action has something to do with the motivation to kill?"
