"Hi, I'm Dian Mattews reporting live from the Little Tight Pageant in Atlanta, Geoegia! I am standing here with little Jakayla who has just won her first pageant.Tell everyone hi " Ms. Dian said smiling at me.
" Hi!" I said waving at the camera
" How sweet, Jakayla would you mind sharing your age with our viewers and what you aim to be!" Ms. Dian said with a smile
" Yes, I'm 6 years owd and I wanna be a model." I said smiling showing my missing two front teeth.
" Well isn't she adorable! Im Dian Mattews and this is little Jakayla who I'm sure will be seeing in the future. Tune into tonight to find out more on the Little Tight Pageant and you can be a winner just like Jakayla." She said pointing at my pink crown and waving.
[Almost 13 years later]
Las Angeles, California
"I stumble up to the window,
Open the curtains to blinding light,
Making up all over the pillows,

What when on last night" Rita Ora sang throught my phone indicating its time to wake up.
I groaned and hit snooze on my phone.
5 min later....
" Kay...Kayyyy!" My 7 year old sister Nae yelled jumping on my bed.
" Whaaaat" I whined
" Mommy said you need to your bad word up." Nae said trying to pull my legs off my bed.
I gave in just so she can smile.
" I'm up, I'm up!" I said going in my bathroom.
I'm not one to dress up, well I never do.
I use to be a girly girl, but now its just beanies and sweatshirts.
After doing all my hygine stuff I slipped on my black and white bred 11s. I might be a nerd, but at least I got swag.
I combed my long black hair down. At the top its blonde all because I let my friend Destiny trick me into dying my hair.
I put on my black and white parental beanie and grabbed the book I have been reading and headed downstairs to see my mother waiting at the door.
" Come on, my first client is at 9:15 and I'm already running late." she said closing the door as I walked to the her car since mine is in the shop.
" Good morning to you too Cruelella" I mumbled buckling my seat belt and putting my earphones in.
My mother is far from regular. She had me at the age of 16 and is very pretty. She's Native American and black. She's engaged to Daniel he's a cool dude. Our dress is totally different, I dress comfy and she dresses for show. She also owns her own interior decorationg company.
She's really successful and smart.
" Alright, I love you and have a good day." She said smiling at me
I smiled for a breif second and got.out the car headed to my locker.
As always there waiting for me was Destiny typing away on her phone.
" Boo!" I said as I opened my locker typing on her phone to mess her up.
" Hoe!" She mumbled then putting her phone away.
