Why Me?

Jakayla POV

Ugh Monday. I hate Mondays with a passion! I swear today I wore levi jeans, purple keep calm and love me shirt, purple and grey Jordans, and my hair was slightly curly from Saturday.

I was at my locker getting my books for 4th block when I felt his presents.

When I turned around there he was with his friends down the hall in his varsity jacket, trues, and jordans to match. He must have noticed me looking at him cause he just starred at me.

"Umm what the hell Jakayla " Destiny said

" What?" I asked a bit annoyed

" You two are like making googly eyes and shit." she said

" Your point." Justin said coming over with his friends not far behind him.

Destiny shut her mouth and let out a sigh.

" Hey Jakayla." He said hugging me

" You guys are sooooo obvious." Destiny said

" Obvious? to what?" Trey said looking at Justin. They had like a mental conversation with each other.

" Me and Jakayla." He said putting his arm around my waist.

" Oooh y'all friends now? " Shaq asked with a chuckle

" Sorta" Justin said

Then the bell rung and I grabbed Destiny and we were out.

After school I had to go meet my mom's friend who's a modeling agent. I haven't modeled in forever so this should be interesting.

I pulled up to the address my mom had gave me and got out.

" Umm Hi I'm Jakayla here for my appointment with Ms. Misa" I said reading off of my phone.

" Oh yes she's expecting you, down the hall last door to your left." The receptionist said

I said a poliet thank you and followed her directions.

I walked into a huge room and there sat a lady around my mothers age with blonde colored hair and high cheeks bones. She was really pretty and looked really familiar.

" Hi I'm Misa and you must be the lovely Jakayla I've heard about." She said looking at her phone not even looking at me.

" Yes I am." I said

" Have a seat I'm just finishing up with my problem children." she said finally looking at me and a smile crept onto her face.

" Is there something wrong?" I asked

" No, you just are a doll Jakayla." She said

" Thank you Ms.Misa." she said

My lesson was actually fun and Ms.Misa is hilarious. She has 3 boys and a little girl.

She invited me over to her house Saturday for a cookout and I gladly accepted.

When I got home I ate and did ny homework.

" I hope I'm not sounding to desperate,

But I need love and affection,

L-o-o-o-ve L-o-o-o-ve." My phone rang

" Hello" I said without looking at the caller ID.

" Hey Jakaaaaayla." Justin said causing me to smile.

" What do you want Justin?" I asked jokingly

" Attitude, but I was just tryna see how my wifey doing." he said

" Didn't know I was that, and just got back from modeling lessons." I said

" You model?" he asked

" Yes Justin I model." I said laughing

" Oh cool, umm can I ask you something." he said sounding kind of nervous

" Ahh yea?" I asked

" Will you come over Saturday." he asked

" Im going to a cookout Saturday, but what time." I asked

" Ughh like 2 and were having a.cookout too." he said laughing off his nervousness.

" Umm I'll stop by definitely." I said

" Oh okay great, ill talk to you later?" he asked kinda cheery

" Yes, good night Justin." I said

" Night Jakayyyyyyla and I want a kiss tomorrow." he said laughing

" Will see." I said laughing then hanging up.
