The Dark Side

Chapter 1

Valerie's pov
Just when I turned around to walk to the door I heard a knock
  "Yes? "
  "Valerie.... Are you done? "I heard mum's voice from the other side of the door. I had wanted to reject Gavard's admission, but she thought it would be okay because, Gavard is a school for immortals she knows I'm different from everyone but she thinks I'll find me in Gavard
   "Yeah. You can open the door" she opened the door slowly. When she looked at me, she widened her eyes. In shock I guess?

"What are you wearing princess?"
I got part of my look from mum. the figure and the nails and the rest__well, I just happened to be different from everyone
   "Clothes. Why?"I asked looking at the mirror. I like it
"Honey you look___"she blinks uncontrollably. Mum is still young, if she and I were to walk down the street you would call her my sister
   "I look? "I folded my arms and stared at her
"No offense baby but__you look bad" I stared at her
"That bad?"
"Yeah. How ab__"
"I'm not changing my clothes mum"
"But you have to look nic__"
"No mum. I look nice"
"Princess you look far from nice"
"I__"

"Valerie c'mon let's go. You are ready. Yeah?" Tyler's voice interrupted me
"Yes"I  said staring at mum, in return she glared at me and I smiled at her
"Oh but you look___" Tyler was interrupted by mum
"Bad?" She asked hopefully
"Nice" he said smiling
"Why, thank you brother" I said smiling at him
" Tonia is at the car waiting let us go," he said while he grabbed four of my luggage bags at the same time. One thing I admire about werewolves  is their super strength for vampires... the speed and strength.
 
  "Sure" I said while I followed Tyler leaving a worried looking num in my room.
As we passed the passage, we received stares and side comments. Lizzy who used to be Tyler's girlfriend before he found his mate said
  " At least a good thing is finally happening in this park after a long time. Who knew a day like this would come when the human would be sent away because she brings a bad name to the park?" She said with a smirk on her face
"Fuck off lizzy" Tyler said
  "Oh baby you know I'm right."
" You are wrong Lizzy. You've always been" he said looking at her. She flashed her red eyes at him and then smiled at him and left

" Are you alright Valerie?" Tyler asked
"Yes" I said feigning a smile. I hate people.
" Valieeee!" I was engulfed in a hug by vivian. Tyler's mate..I like her so much
"Vivi" I hugged back. Her hug was so gentle. She's a witch. Tyler found her on the road at night with bruises on her skin. She was 15 then while Tyler was 17, he knew there was something different about her. He brought her home. Then, Tyler hadn't found his mate, and every werewolf is meant to find their mate at the age of 18 but he is a hybrid and he is supposed to be the next alpha so the mating age was supposed to strike different for him. At least at age 16 or 17

Vivian became part of our park. When she was was 17 Tyler was 19 he was sick and it's rare for a vampire or a werewolf to be sick, she was the witch assigned to help check his temperature on that day and then, they found out they were mates. They've been insepratable.

" I'm going to miss you" she said looking at me
" Me too" I said truthfully. She is very nice.
" Don't you think you should change your clothes valie?" She asked looking at my outfit
"Oh thank goodness" mum said
" No I'm fine." I replied
"Oh okay" she said with smiles" I got you a spelled inhaler. It's meant to be in any bag you decide to go out with and this ring it's meant to make keep you sane and  not let you go claustrophobic on people" she winked at me and slipped the ring on my third finger and whispered something. I tried pulling the ring out

  "Why isn't it going out?" I asked her
" Because it's spelled. It's not going to leave your finger till... you know.. your back and I take it off" she smiled
  "Seriously?"
  "Yep. It's comfortable right?"
"Yes. Uhmm the inhaler?"
" Can I have your old one" she asked and I searched for it and gave it to her
  " Here." She took it and gave me a pink inhaler with black dots on it. It's beautiful.
 
" Yeah I know." Tonia said as she walked towards me. Tonia can read my mind..I don't know why.. but she enjoys reading my mind that is how she found out about the girls. I rolled my eyes at her
   " Are you guys ready?' she asked
" Yes. You take of your self okay. And don't forget to call me" vivi said as she hugged me me again "Bye"
"Bye" I said back and she kissed her mate before leaving
Tonia and Tyler took my bag whilst I hugged mum and told dad goodbye on the phone because he is out of the country.
  I walk to the car. I'm happy to leave here , but I'm not. I just hope Gavard would be nice.
