Narrator's POV:

It has been a couple of months that Dave and Bambi became best friends. Tristan however, he knew that Bambi had some sort of feelings for Dave. It was quite obvious. But, he didn't knew anything about Dave. He was trying to figure out the clues.

Dave and Tristan were at home when suddenly they heard a knock at the door. "I'll get it!" Tristan said getting off the couch and ran to the door. He opened it slowly and saw Bambi. "Hey. It's Bambi. Is Dave there?" Bambi said whispering to Tristan. "Yeah! Why is something wrong?" Tristan said. "Everything is alright, I just want to see if Dave wants to hang out." Bambi said, in a bit of a cocky tone. "Hmm... ok then!" Tristan said. "Wait here." Bambi nodded and waited. Tristan ran to his father and said, "Daaaad! Bambi's here!" Dave turned around and looked at Tristan. "Hm! I didn't expect him to be here.." Dave went to the door and opened it. "Dave!" "Hey Bambi! What are you doing here?" Dave said, smiling. 'Darn it.. His smile is so amazing.'  Dave noticed Bambi's staring and said, "Bambi? Are you there?" Dave shook Bambi. He snapped out of it. "O-OH! S-Sorry... I got a bit off-guard." Bambi said, fixing his hat to try not make it not awkward. "Uhmm... o..ok!!" Dave said, shrugging it off quickly. "So.. what do you need?" Dave asked. Bambi cleared his throat. "W-Well... I was wondering if maybee.. you want to hang out? Maybe go to my corn farm?" Bambi looked deep into Dave's eyes. "Hmm.. I am a bit bored, Sure! I would love to!" Dave agreed. Bambi had a big smile on his face. "Great!" "Can I come? I don't want to be alone!" Tristan said, crossing his arms. "Sure!" Dave grabbed Tristan and placed him on his lap. Bambi slightly smiled and wished that could be him. They eventually went to Bambi's corn farm. 

Few hours later...

Bambi, Tristan, and Dave went back to Dave's house and hanged out for a bit. "Well... It's getting kind of late. I should be going." Bambi said, looking out the window. "Are you sure? It gets dark early these days! It's not too safe..." Dave said, looking at Bambi. "I will be fine, Dave." "Bambi... I care about you! I don't want you to get hurt.." Dave said, having puppy eyes. Bambi blushed and sighed. "Ok.. fine, I guess I can stay.. but if someone steals my corn, you're paying!" Bambi said, maybe sounding serious. Dave smiled and hugged Bambi. "I promise!" Bambi blushed hard and felt like passing out. "Just kiss alreadyyyy.." Tristan said, giggling. Dave looked at Tristan and placed Bambi on the couch. "TRISTAN!! DON'T SAY THAT!" Dave blushed. Tristan laughed out loud and ran to his room. Dave crossed his arms until he heard Bambi. "D-Daaaveee.." Bambi said tiredly. "Y-Yes.. Bambi?" Dave said going to Bambi. "I'm tired. Do you have a separate bedroom..?" Bambi asked. "Uhmm.. I'm sorry but, I don't. This house is mainly for me and Tristan." Dave said. "Ah.. I can just go." Bambi said, rubbing his eyes. "Bambi!! I said no! You can't be going outside at night!" Dave said, almost screaming. Bambi yawned. "You can sleep on the couch.." Dave said and Bambi agreed. They both went to sleep after.

It was around 12AM at midnight. Dave was sleeping in his room. As well for Tristan. Bambi suddenly woke up around the same time and kept thinking about Dave. Bambi sighed and got off the couch and tried to find Dave's room. He soon found it and entered. Bambi tip toed to Dave and went on his bed. (Middle-of-story point: Bambi is taller than his canon height. 4'11 and Dave is 5'7. 5'3 when sitting on his wheelchair.)  Bambi stared at Dave as he was sleeping. He probably looked like a creep but he didn't care. He straight up liked Dave. More than friends. 'Gosh he's so cute..' Bambi thought. He laid next to Dave and placed his hand on Dave's waist. "You must be a heavy sleeper.. I love you Dave..." Bambi said quietly and blushed. He closed his eyes and went to sleep fast.
