The world around me seemed small.

and yet this backyard is quite big.

"Aaaah!" She screamed running as fast as her little legs could take her. She speeds across the yard tripping over the concrete and falling right in front of me. "Gotcha! Your it!" I yell on the top of my lungs.

There was really no need to be that loud. "No I'm not! I'm not it! I hate being it!" Hawaa yells pushing me. And stomping off in an angry fit.

I roll my eyes. She always seemed to get angry far too easily.

Back then life was as easy as it was simple. There were rules to my life of course but they weren't too hard too remember.

1. Avoid father at all costs he might get you to do something hard. And if you don't do it right he's gonna hit you.

2. Don't bother mom too much. She's tired from providing for the family. You know it's very expensive caring for 11 people.

3. Stick to Taubah's schedule. She knows best.

4. Last but DEFINITELY not least. If no one sees no one knows. And we'd like to keep it that way.

I stuck to these rules. I lived by these rules. Though it was simple it was far easier said than done. Living with him was like walking on nails. Even the slightest mistake and BAM your foot is completely pierced through.

But at least it was fun. Being apart of my household meant you were kept on the edge of your seat at all times and you were never bored.

Now whether that's a good or bad thing depends on you.
