Asami: I woke up this morning and I realized Korra wasn't in bed. I never see her get up this early but I assumed it was just for avatar stuff. Once I got up I got in the shower and did my morning routine like most mornings. When I was done getting ready I went to work. I thought It was going to be a casual morning.. When I got to the front desk one of my
co-workers told me that my girlfriend came here to see me and was in my office. I was excited to see her and I was hoping we could spend the day together. Work has been very stressful lately and Korra added to all of that stress once I entered my office. I saw rose petals everywhere and candles. At first I was flattered but then I realized that the petals were dying all of my paperwork. I've been designing a new product for future industries and it has been the only thing on my mind lately. I put so much time in effort into this new product and it was ruined. I was devastating and I lost my temper and started yelling at Korra. I could tell that Korra felt terrible.. Suddenly the words just seeped out like acid..
"You were never a nuisance in that damn
wheelchair"
I had regretted what I had said immediately.
I tried touching her hand but she said
"Don't touch me Asami" I realized I didn't deserve her forgiveness.. I'm such an idiot.. She was just trying to do something nice for me. As tears started falling from those big blue eyes I slowly grew fond of I couldn't help but think what a jackass I was.. She stormed out of the building and I broke down in tears.
