The Crystal Trio II (Ninjago Reader Inserts) [CURRENTLY ON HAITUS]

A Crystalline Masterpiece- Part 1: A Reflection to the Past

(The scene starts with a flashback of the orphanage where a kid version of Leo attempts to rollerblade over a fire hydrant, but trips over it and falls flat on his face.)

Leo: Ah! Come on.

(He tries again, and this time succeeds.)

Leo: Yes! Not gonna lie, kinda wish someone saw that.

Stella and Alice: (Offscreen.) We did!

(The two girls excitedly walks up to Leo.)

Leo: Oh, (He becomes slightly embarrassed.) Hope you didn't see me goof it up before.

Alice: No, no, no, no, no, that was sweet. Can we try?

Leo: Sure! Always happy to share with some fellow rollerbladers. (He then becomes suspicious.) Wait, you two aren't those types of girls who want to take advantage of boys, aren't you?

Alice: Oh, no, no, no. We would never dream of doing something like that.

Stella: Yeah, sure I've dreamt of going out with some of the orphan boys, like Shane "Shade" Lee, Griffin Turner or Noah "Neuro" Pathis, but I'm not dumb enough to do that in real life.

Leo: What a coincidence, because those three are part of my friend group. Now cmon, this ramp opened up. (He gives his rollerblades to Alice while giving an extra pair  to Stella and they go over to said ramp.) Alright, dudes, show me what you got.

(The girls gets ready to go, but they start rolling backwards, and rolls down the wrong side of the ramp, the three panic and Leo chases after them.)

Alice and Stella:  "Woah! Woah!" (They see that they're headed for a street sign.) "Aah! Aah! Aah! Aah! Aah!"

Leo: (He grabs two rock climbing ropes.) Quick, grab on!

(Leo throws the ropes to Stella and Alice, who catches them.)

Alice and Stella: Woah! (They hold the ropes as they wrap themselves around a streetlight, once it stops she drops off.) Oof.

Leo: (He runs up to them.) Are you two okay?

Stella: Not a scratch thanks to you.

Leo: Um, not to be rude but, have either of you skated before?

Alice: (They get up, smiling.) Nope, but it looked fun. 

Stella: Extremely fun! We've never seen gothic guy like Shade or a guy so cocky and fast like Griffin either, but we just got picked to move to this zone and we wanna see and try every new thing we can!

Leo: (He's speechless at first, but then laughs.) You guys are awesome! I'm Leo Wilson. 

Alice: Alice Miller.

Stella: Stella Parker. Nice to meet you.

(The three shake hands. Later, Stella, Alice and Leo are sitting on a fountain, feeding pigeons.)

Leo: Whoa, look at that little dude. He's seen better days.

(The three look at a pigeon from the Substandard Zone, who vomits a piece of his leg.)

Stella: Poor guy. (She throws a piece of food to him.) I still can't believe you didn't grow up on this side of the orphanage.

Leo: Nope, I'm from the Moderate Zone.
