A/N
Before I begin, I want to address that I've realized a reoccurring fault with my own writing. I jump around in Third and First person a lot.
Second, I recommend you watch the first volume of RWBY before reading. This story wont make sense otherwise. That's all. Have fun!===
It's cold. I can feel my mind going crazy, filling with visions of vibrant colors and random flashes of light. As well as all the coming and going, sounds of voices talking and yelling. I can't exactly say I'm enjoying this moment I've found myself in. What's even going on...? Where am I? Why can't I see anything? Soon, my questioning is interrupted by a voice that sounds way too close..., way too..., Familiar.
"Hey! Wake up, please. Are you alright?" Said a very childlike voice. The faint sound of wind blowing through the trees is soothing. Its not cold anymore, but somewhat warm. The wind isn't helping though.
The silence is interrupted by a more mature, but still kiddish kind of voice. They spoke in a semi-hurried tone. "Obviously they're unconscious. There's nothing we can do for them now. Let's just leave them and keep going."
It's then that I'm able to slightly open my eyes. As I open them, I immediately close them as a result of getting blinded by the sun shining through the leaves. "Ah..." I say in response for it being too bright.
"Ah! Weiss! They're not dead!" The childlike voice spoke again cheerfully. "Hang in there, uh.. guy.. you'll recover in no time." They try to reassure me. . . reassure me from.. what? I open my eyes only to adjust to the sunlight. After a few seconds I'm able to fully open my eyes. It was worth it. Looking up to see those pure silver eye. They were so... mesmerizing...
"..."
I quickly look away after a few very awkward seconds. I stand up after realizing I was laying down. With by back turned towards the red haired girl I look back at her. Thinking of what to say I can only manage to mutter a sound. "Um..."
"Oh, good you can stand at least. I was beginning to think I'd have to carry you." She says smiling as she stands up. Dusting herself off she ask, "Why were you laying in the grass? There's Grimm everywhere and we're in the middle of a trial." They paused. Before you can say anything, they begin speaking again. "Ah! Maybe you hit your head during landing?" She says lifting my hair to check my forehead only to be met with a crimson red marking. Once again, before you can say anything the white haired girl clears her throat to get the red haired girls attention. Crossing her arms, she says, "You can see he's fine so let's go. We don't have time to waste on other people."
