The stairs below you creaked as you slowly walked behind the silver haired man.

"And in the upper floor we have 5 bed rooms and 4 bathrooms!" He exclaims as he eventually makes it to the top of the stairs with you following close behind.

You look around with an adoring smile on your face.

'This place is perfect ' you thought

Sure some people will call you crazy for wanting the old beaten down mansion. Probably infested with rats ...I mean you were the only one even trying to get the thing anyway (and with good reason)

"If you would follow me this way i can show you to the biggest room" he droned on as you listened intently to every little thing he said about the house

You've always loved fixing things and this place was absolutely perfect to do so.

I mean, you had more than enough money to buy it on the spot.

But, you just wanted to know everything you could before you make any rash decisions.

He showed you the biggest room. You then both walked into the bathroom as he kept talking. You stopped, and stared at the mirror hanging on the wall

It was crooked and slightly cracked with a black and gold rusted frame.

You looked at your reflection, but it looked...different

. . .like it wasn't you somehow

You took a step towards it, until the man cleared his throat

"Uh... Ma'am?" He spoke softly tapping your shoulder "so would you like to purchase the home or?" He questioned

"Oh! Yes of course! Its a lovely home you have here Mr. Maximoff" you smiled up at the silver haired man as he chuckled

You took another look at the mirror as you both started walking away back to the stairs

"The house used to be elegant before . . . some other things had happened" he smiled sadly before clearing his throat clapping his hands together

"so! how about we meet tomorrow and this place can be all yours?" He asked looking at you hopefully

You smiled brightly at his words "yes of course i would love that!" you say as you followed him down the creaky steps once more.

He opened the door for you and you you chuckled a thank you as you both walked out talking about the home

You both eventually said your goodbyes and were on your separate ways.

You woke up earlier than you usually would, excited to start the day

You had planned to go get things before you bought the mansion and started the job

So thats exactly what you did

Grabbing your keys you headed out

Walking down the aisles looking for the wood you would need for the new walkway you would be starting soon.

You knelt down to look at the lower pieces of wood that were displayed on the bottom shelf

"hmm maybe a bloodwood-?" you muttered questioning yourself as you picked up the small piece of wood
