You woke up and did your routine before leaving the house choosing to grab food on the way again.
Parking in front of the small diner you walk in as the bells chime signaling your presence once more. "Good morning ms. Y/n" he smiled politly walking past you "morning peter"
You looked around for a place to sit your eyes landed on a familiar face walking towards them.
As you got to the table you cleared your throat "so uh- this seat taken?" You asked
Bucky snapped his head up choking on his drink as he saw you. You laughed as the drink spilled on him. He was blushing as your laughter turned into a fit of giggles
"I'm so sorry james!" You laughed "didnt mean to startled you so bad" you smiled putting your hand on his shoulder "you okay?"
He paused for a moment just staring at you "are you alright?" You asked again more concerned this time
"Yeah yeah no I'm okay. The seat is also not taken" he spoke fast wiping off the table frantically.
You smiled softly at how flustered he got "may i?" You asked gesturing towards the empty chair. He looked at you confused as he nodded "great!" You gleamed plopping down.
"so you come here often hot stuff?" You asked leaning over the table looking at Bucky. He shook his head smiling "that was terrible y/n"
You shrugged smiling"Eh can't blame me for trying. What do you think you're gonna get to eat anyway?" You asked looking at a little menu
He looked down humming softly "probably just a plum parfait or something of the sort? And you?" he said skimming the menu
"Oh! I was gonna get f/bf! And probably a drink" you smiled up at him he just shook his head huffing amused
(f/bf= favorite breakfast food)
"What?" You asked quietly laughing "you're just full of energy is all" he shrugged "if i had a quarter for everytime someone said that" you huffed out a small chuckle
"I bet you'd be rich by now" he shook his head as you shrugged as a response "so bucky you got a job?" He nodded "I'm a handy man"
"I just help people with what they need around town" he gestured around with his hands as he spoke. You nodded "thats awesome! I'm probably gonna need the help soon too" you laughed quietly sliding down in your chair a bit with a sigh
"even the walkway kicked my ass. And all i need to do to it now is put it all together" you exasperated shaking your head
"you got like that whole walkway done in a day?" He whisper yelled leaning forward you leaned closer too "yeah! Awesome right? I didnt think I'd be that far yesterday! i was very proud of myself." You exclaimed happily
He nodded "amazing-" he said as someone interrupted him. "hello! I'm May and I'll be your waiter while peter is out for a moment"
"Okay then I'll have (your order) and (any dessert)" you asked politely "alright and for you?" She said turning to bucky "I'll have (random thing idk)" he asked politely
She nodded and wrote it down "that'll be right out you guys!" You thanked her as she walked away "she seemed lovely" you smiled looking out the window
You saw him nod at your statement "she is a very kind person" you smiled and nodded.
