Elena was a serene college girl who absolutely loved animals . So much that she begged her parents to let her part time in their nearby ancient and archaic pet shop which they ran from a few generations . She could earn a few bucks by doing something she loved so her parents said why not. Today was another one of her working a shift in the pet shop after finishing college . She was feeding the hamsters who gobbled up their food like they were eating after weeks . Without notice a 2 little children a girl and guy came inside holding each other's hand beside them stood a young man who seemed as old as Elena and was ... Let's say very attractive
" Let's adopt a cat ! "
" Okay but I say which one "
"No mommy always let's you pick things it's my turn"
" But the cat is also mine "
The two kids were at each other's throats the young man released groan and tried to separate them not noticing Elena who was awkwardly watching the siblings argue .
"Reina ... Chris stop .... The cat which we will choose will also choose us . You fighting about which one you wanna choose is irrelevant "
The kids did stop arguing but sent each other glares .
"U-um Welcome to *random* pet shop ! Well I am sorry for hearing your conversation but please come with I'll show where the cats are..."
"It's okay miss and I'm sorry for my nephew and neice's behaviour "
The kids and the man followed Elena where she showed them all the cats . Some were meowing . Some were licking their paws . Some asleep
All of their expressions softening seeing the furry cuties
But a certain one caught their attention . A ginger kitten who hopped onto the kids and started rubbing his back and meowing them at a certain tone . The kids not moving an inch to not scare away the small feline
" I guess he chose you.. " Elena said looking at the man . Him cracking a warm smile after hearing Elena's words
" We will adopt you little one" Reina whispered.
"Uncle is right.." Chris murmured
" Kids you get into the car with um... "
" How about mow ? Since she was meowing that or should I say mowing " she said releasing a chuckle
" Sounds good how about mow kids ? "
" Yes ! "
the young man stayed back to fill in the requirements to adopt mow and bring some cat food for him and we'll ....ask out Elena
" And you're done ! Mow is the 2nd one of the bunch to get adopted ! Hope you and him can give each other loads of happiness "
" I would make sure that "
