chapter 6

A/N: 2 chapters in one day? omg go me. :D also y'all should check out the new karl book i have our, so far i only have 1 chapter in wattpad, but i have like 9 other ones written down. anyways-

after dinner, everyone left to go do their own thing other then phil and me. he was going to "explain" everything to me? i don't really know but whatever. guess we'll see.

"alright mate, so basically this place is called the dream smp. your grandfather had practically "founded" us because no other human had. anyways besides the point your grandpa was very known around the smp, everyone loved him. he used to come everyday to help me take care of techno and such. it was really whatever i needed.

but things have been rough since he left. which was 100 years ago in our time, but in your time it was about 10 years ago. in those "10" years, everything went downhill. there was war after war. dream, the owner of the smp went mad. it's all because georgie stopped visting him. he was off the rails, he wanted to control everything. but georgie didn't let that happen, so he left dream. and i guess he left us all.

"oh.." was all i could mutter out. phil continued to tell me about the smp, finally we go to who i can trust, and who i can't. (i rlly can't remember if i did this already or not.. but i'm sorry if i did just bear with me.)
trust: niki, phil, techno, wilbur (?), sapnap(kinda) bad and skeppy, sam, puffy, drista, dream etc.. and the people we shouldn't trust: jack, ponk, punz, foolish, DREAMXD etc..
phil's pov
i know you must be confused on how you can trust dream if he so called "went off the rails" he's better now. he's been in prison, and finally righted his wrongs. he's a good guy now. i suggest you try to talk to him.

you mentioned something about your grandfather, telling you to come to me because i knew what to do correct? "yeah" george responds. well i just told you everything you need to know, but i haven't told you what you need to do.. i have something for you. let me go get it.
george's pov
phil gets up to get something to give to me, i sit and wait for phil to get back. as soon as he does, he's holding something wrapped up. if i'm being honest it looks like a fucking wizard stick thing.

phil hands the the clothed stick thing, telling me to unwrap it. which i do, obviously. once it's fully unwrapped i get a clearer view of the wizard stick thing.
(i'm so sorry i forgot what it's called it's like almost 4am and i'm tired af so bare with me.) i look at it confused, then i look at phil confused who is looking at me with a bright smile.

"your grandpa wants you to fix the things he couldn't, continue the smp, fix it, mend it, whatever is needed. the wizard stick thing will help you, trust me" i take in the knowledge that was just given to me. so.. i start "you want me to basiclly fix this smp without knowing how to use the wizard stick? that would be a death wish." i tell him. "that's why i'll have techno train you tomorrow.
philzas pov:
i look at the time, my eyes widening its 11:28.. the portal closes at 12. it's to dangerous for george to stay the night. i have to get him home. "hey george so uh small issue, the portal closes here really soon, and it's to dangerous to have you stay the night. i'll have techno walk you to the portal, you can come back tomorrow. also you should probably leave the wizard stick thing here. (i just remembered it's called a staff, but i like wizard stick thing better) george has a small frown on his face but nods, he understands. i call technoblade down and told him what he needed to do.
——time skip——
we finally arrived back to the portal. i said goodbye to techno and thank him for escorting me to the portal, he just nods in response. i put my hand on the door nob, slowly twisting it open, once it opens i step inside and take one last glance at technoblade before going through the portal.
