"Seryoso ba?" Tanong ko sa kaibigan.
"Oo daw papalitan daw muna ni Miss Garlea si Miss Ocampo since buntis nga at ikakasal pa, inannounce kahapon kaso absent ka eh" Irene said focusing on her chika of the day.
"Celeste Garlea? That one famous fashion designer? Why is she here, last time I checked she wasn't a teacher. Well I'm not 100% sure tho since I'm not that interested in her" I shrugged.
"I dont know pero ang intimidating niya tignan tas mukhang masungit" pagtutuloy ni Rin. "And I think she's also a Lawyer?"
"Hoy kahit masungit atleast sikat at magaling na fashion designer at lawyer. I've seen her work and super gaganda talaga. Yung mga works niya pang international talaga. I've even read some articles about her dresses na sinuot ng mga sikat na hollywood stars" sabat naman ni Reid. Mukhang may die hard fan dito ah.
"Garlea? Hmm...... Not that interested at all" I shrugged not minding at all.
"Huy shuta ka naturingan ka pa namang mag fafashion designer tapos hindi mo ganon kakilala ang nag-iisang Celeste Garlea? Mag shift ka nalang kaya, hahaha joke lang baka manghampas ka na naman jan" natatawang sabi ni Reid.
Hmm. Is she really that big in the fashion industry? I mean I've read things but not that much. Eh, bahala na yan. I dont care if she's famous or not, as long as she's a good teacher then it's fine.
"She's reaaaaally hot din pala" Reid continued, his eyes dreamy and probably imagining of Miss Garlea who I'm not gonna deny is truely beautiful from the pics that Reid just showed me.
"Eew para kang tanga jan, as if papatulan ka non. I heard she's into girls eh, not sure tho. Pero I have to agree, she's hot and smart. Nung nagpaulan siguro si lord ng perfectness wala siyang payong"
"Hay nako ewan ko sainyong dalawa" pag-iling na lang ako habang natatawa ng kaunti.
"Ayan absent pa kase nahuli ka tuloy sa mga chismis ni Rin" Bigla namang sabi ni Reid.
Yes, they're twins. Not identical but both absolutely good looking. They're half german and half filipino. Their mom's german while their dad is a filipino. They have the perfect family, and to be frank, sometimes I kinda feel a bit jealous. Oo buhay pa nga si dad pero lagi namang laman ng office niya. I do appreciate it when he tries to make time for us para makapag bonding pero syempre I still crave for a complete happy family even if it's impossible, well unless mom crawls up from her grave which I'm not too sure I'll be happy about after watching a bunch of zombie movies.
Anyway, I met the twins when I started my freshman year of college. We are currently in our second year and have been the best of friends for over a year. It's been a month since the start of 2nd year. Their father bought a house in Baguio, so they moved here from Manila. Rin (as I call her since I'm too lazy to pronounce her two-syllable name) and I hit it off right away after meeting at the hall, both looking confused, and the same thing happened when she introduced me to her brother Reid, who happens to be in the same class as me. They're cheerful, friendly, and intelligent, and they're everything I could want in a friend. However, they do love annoying me.
"Suntukin ko kaya tiyan mo para maabsent ka din"
"Chill, umagang umaga nakabusangot ka jan" Tawang sabi ni Reid habang kinakalikot ang kung ano man sa upuan sa tabi ko.
Reid, like me, is a fashion designer student; we both took a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design and Marketing course or BA-FDM for short. Habang ang kapatid niya namang si Rin ay business management ang kinuha.
Both of them likes staying in my class first thing in the morning. At kahit magkapareho pa man kami ni Reid ng course na kinuha, we unfortunately got different teachers and class schedules. While I have Fashion Illustration 1 first thing in the morning he has it in third, same with our other classes.
*Ringggg!!!*
"AY POTEK KANG PUSA KA!" Reid flinched.
Napatawa nalang kami ni Rin sa lalaking nagrereklamo kung bakit daw ba sobrang lakas at pabigla-bigla ang bell.
"Alis na kami, mahirap na baka mamaya malate pa. Just gonna warn you tho, people say Miss Garlea is a TE-RROR" Rin dramatically emphasized before walking off.
I sighed not minding it. I'm proud of not being a brat and a pain in the ass, so having a terror teacher for my 1st class would be fine- right?
