When the morning came to, everyone was already packed and ready to go.

Luckily, the night descended pretty decently without any event unfolding, and now we had to get out of this place because this could possibly become next target for the hunting game started by those monsters.

The closest was a bus station that was in square forum or SF street and, as Somi had assumed, it would take about 20 minutes to get there.

But it could take a whole half quarter a day, and that is, if something interferes their way.

Once everyone gathered near the door, I turn to them with a serious expression.

“We have to be careful and stay out of sight from those creatures, alright?”

They nod at my words with a determined expression, so I continue.

“It would’ve relatively taken 20 minutes to get to SF street on a normal day, but the outside world is not normal anymore and as you are already aware, anyone of us could die next, so we have to be careful and fast at the same time, because we don’t know if the safe zone is safe or not... and then see how things will go from there.”

Their faces turn grim but they couldn’t protest against my harsh idea planted about future. So they vaguely nod, but Lev speaks up.

“What about portals? I mean it’s not really a portal right? That thing that transports you to different locations... like in fictions?”

I almost forgot about it. Come to think of it... it couldn’t really be that right?

I grab at my chin thinking about possibility of what it could be and a sigh escapes my mouth.

There were certain possibilities... like, maybe the announcer didn’t figuratively meant that kind of portal, it could be escape route to different place because come to think of it, it was all over the bust stations and other mentioned places were really near the train stations and one almost covered the area for cab stands. So, it could be that, vehicles were pretty much safe and it was kind of a plot.

The second possibility was worse... It could be a trap to lure monsters in, so that authorities could take the chance and run away to a safe place.

I shivered thinking about it. That would mean eventually getting myself and three of them to danger.

Let’s hope that it wasn’t like this...

But the third possibility sounded incredulous... but there was certain chance that it was actually a portal that would transport them to a safer place... if there was any left.

I shook my head to get these grim thoughts out of my mind. I had to find that after getting there and it was the only thing we could do now.

And come to think of it, these monsters seem to only roam around populated areas and this part of the street was almost isolated, so there was a chance that these creatures could have already started to move in a different destination.

I tell them to untie the belts and check if we were forgetting about anything.

After everything was checked and done, I clasp my bag tightly before nodding to everyone as we step out to the deserted road.
