Across town somewhere, a father and son held up the line at a local ice cream parlor.
"Did you know that snow is created in the process of condensation ? When water particles go up into the cold atmosphere it converts into small particles of snow and ice !"
Glaring at both him and his stupid orange hat, Haym thought to herself how she does not get paid enough.
"Can I get you and your son anything today ?"
"Hmm, I'll do a snow cone with rainbow sprinkles in a cup. And for my son just vanilla on a plate because he's a 7 on the pH scale."
As Haym finished the order the man in the orange cap took off his sunglasses to reveal that he is the world renowned actor in the movie Waterboy (along with a few other side roles) Atom Richard Sandler is the town's it boy. However he has strong opinions that have damaged his reputation. After 15 years with his ex-lover their relationship had become toxic. All his ex-lover could talk about was the water cycle. Atom had grown sick and tired of this however after each break up he'd find himself back in aisle 3 staring at the flustered red face that he onced loved.
"This snow cone is great. Almost as great as sublimation" he said.
Haym began pleading to him with tears in her eyes.
"Please just go home I do not care about the water cycle I just want my hourly $4".
"Sublimation is the stage in the water cycle in which snow and ice change into water vapor immediately, before it even becomes a liquid. Fascinating isn't?" he said before walking away to the noise of Haym banging her head against the cash register repeatedly.
