"Is getting married important for alliance? I mean, that thing happened centuries ago." Nathaniel made a cringed face as I searched for a classy diamond ring for my to-be-husband.

"Show me the most expensive collection." I say to the lady before turning to Nat.

"I know. But you see, my parents think that the marriage would be a stronger pact with Jeons. Both of our companies are going to blow the market. Besides, they think it's high time I get married. According to them, Jungkook is a perfect match for me."

According to them.

Jeon Jungkook wasn't the type of man I preferred. He was way too polite, innocent, shy, and baby-like.

I went out on a few dates with him. On the first date, I gave him flowers and he didn't even react.

On the second date, I gave him chocolates because he loves them. I found out that little information with the twenty-question round I had with him on the first date.

He took the chocolate box from me and blushed. He looked cute. He was adorable.

Cute isn't my type though.

I like a man who can control me. A dominating man who is a hopeless romantic at heart.

Jungkook was shy around girls. His mother had told me the other day. I was convinced he was barely a romantic on our third date.

He was just a nerdy workaholic. I even doubted his sexuality.

What if he was into guys?

That's why on our fourth date which wasn't actually a date because I had literally barged into his office with lunch in my hands, I asked him if he was gay.

"No. I'm straight." He just answered with a wry chuckle.

He was intolerable to me. Any other girl would have loved him. But I am me.

I don't know how am I even going to spend the rest of my life with this saint dude.

"Whatever. Just don't scare away your to-be-husband." I rolled my eyes. I did not plan on eating him like a monster.

"Anyways, he is a genius, and clever. It may not seem like it but he is." I nodded my head.

"Only when it comes to business." That was true. Jungkook loved professionalism. Even though he was an introvert, his personality during business changed.

Jeon Empire was built by his father but Jungkook is the one who carried it so far. He is a responsible, clever, strategic man who knows the tactics of business.

That's the only thing I liked about him.

At least he would be a great business partner to me.

"Here Ma'am." The lady says opening a box where lies shiny diamond rings. "How is this?" I flash the ring in front of Nathan's face. He shakes his head. "Diamond's too big." I showed him a few more before we settled onto a ring that had many small diamonds.

A perfect wedding band!

"You should have done this shopping with your to-be-husband." I scoffed swiping my card to pay for the ring. "He was busy with meetings." Nathaniel laughed. I hated the mockery in his voice.

"What? He didn't clear his schedule for the wedding? I swear he is going to get late to say his vows just because he was busy with a meeting." I could see that happening. Jungkook was capable of doing that. But I trusted his mother. She is excited about the marriage and she won't let that happen.
