Everything felt like before now. I mean, exactly how my life was before marriage. The only thing was that now I had someone living with me in the house.

I was finally back at work. This company is half of my heart. Working gives me a serotonin boost. I was getting bored at Jungkook's house anyways.

C'mon, it's going to take me time to call that our house.

Jungkook had made a highly respectful position in my heart after that stormy night. I don't even know what I would have done if I were alone.
Probably died of a panic attack.

"Good Morning Ma'am. It's so good to see you finally. Congratulations once again on your wedding." I smiled at my assistant.

"Thank you, Karen." I settled on my office chair.

"I have been on a long vacation. Now, only work. What's my schedule?" She came beside me handing me her tab.

"10:50 am, Deal confirmation with Dylan's. 11:30, meeting with the designing department for Herea Towers. 1:00, Lunch meeting with President Shin. 2:30, you have lots of papers to sign and approve the construction of SEAR Mall. 3:50, Meeting with Jeons about the tie-up and the collaboration project. 5:00, your parents are expecting you at Hyatt Hotel & Resort. That's it!"

I nod my head keeping away the tab.

"Meeting with Jeons? I thought Dad was looking after it." Karen frowns.

"Did he not tell you?" I raised a brow leaning forward on my desk.

"Tell me what?" She straightens her shoulders.

"He wants you to sign the collaboration documents. The Jeons are still not a part of our company. On Friday, there's the Big event officially declaring the tie-up. I am assuming Mr. Jeon has plans on changing a few positions within the company." I sigh nodding my head in understanding.

"Are the papers ready though?" Karen firmly nodded her head.

"Your father and Mr. Jeon's father got the papers ready before the wedding. They were just waiting until you return to work. You know, giving husband and wife time to settle down before you both completely jump into professional lives and be business partners."

I don't know why, but this is sounding a bit suspicious to me. My father didn't confront me. Neither did my mother. While Karen knows everything and I find myself a little clueless at this moment.

"What are your thoughts on this?" I ask Karen holding my chin up on my palms.

"Like what Ma'am?" I shrug rolling my fingers around the paperweight.

"I mean, do you think there will be some things in the contract that I would not like?" Karen tilts her head thinking about it.

"I have done enough research on The Jeons to know that Mr. Jeon Jungkook looks for his profit before anything. He is a smart and clever man, as you must know better than me. So, I am pretty sure there must be things you won't like. But again, I am thinking he would be a little lose since you are his wife."

I am thinking the same. I mean we are both life partners now.

Jeon Jungkook won't play his business tactics on me, would he?
