Some of the top business tycoons come to congratulate the two of us for our wedding. Jungkook is busy talking to people and so am I. It's tough forcing a smile on your face for people but it's quite easy for me since Jungkook keeps glancing at me time to time. I am automatically smiling all the time.
"C'mon, go dance with your dear best decision." Nathan nudges my shoulders whispering in my ears.
Oh God! He won't stop teasing me for that.
This man sucks. Why do we all make these kinda friends? I guess, because we all are stupid when we are kids and when childhood friendships stick to us even when we are adults we realize what dumb friends we have.
"Shut up! I am not doing that. What if I go and he says that he doesn't wanna dance?" I have a very extreme fear of rejection and especially if Jungkook turns me down I'll die of embarrassment. Nat slaps his forehead giving me the expression that says it's easier to talk to a wall.
"Just go, Bitch!" He snatches the wine glass from my hands and pushes me in Jungkook's direction. I glare at him.
I mean, a dance ain't too bad. What if Jungkook doesn't turn me down? I suck in a sharp breathe glancing at Jungkook who is busy laughing with a couple of people.
Nathan gives me a thumbs up finishing the rest of the wine in my glass. Fucker!
I walk closer to Jungkook fidgeting with my fingers.
It's okay Kris darling. It's not that difficult.
I smile at the three people who are talking to him sliding my hand around his arm. His eyes snap to me. He looks astonished. Red creeps up his neck.
My husband looks very classy. With one hand in his pocket and other holding the wine. His face covered with a charming small smile that widens when he sees me.
"Excuse us!" I say to them as they walk away after passing us a polite smile.
Jungkook turns to me. Before he speaks, I reach out for his hand.
"Um... I had never done this. I mean, I know how to do it but it's different. I want to say that—" I stutter miserably. Where is my fucking confidence? I sigh, cursing myself mentally.
"Would you like to dance with me?" I say finally. Jungkook eyes me, tilting his head. "Where's the bold woman I had known all along?" He keeps his half empty wine glass on the counter behind him.
I bite my lower lips.
Even I don't know where that bold woman vanished.
Now, every time I am in front of Jungkook I am just a puddle of water. His gaze always melts me and butterflies erupt in my stomach like they have always lived there.
"Come, the stage is waiting for us." He says sqeezing my hand lightly. He pulls me on the stage and instantly the music changes, so does the lights.
"Torturous little tool." He looks at my heels. I throw my head back laughing at his expression.
"A little pain and a lot of pleasure." I state.
