"Oh come on, Max!" I groaned with full passion as Maximus, my tall, popular, lanky brother tie his shoelace. Well 20 minutes after our dismissal earlier, Uncle Dave texted me to go home early because Max needed to go to his "date" and no one will take charge of the house. And since I was a an introvert, I decided to accept the offer but was a little annoyed, considering they thought I was a security guard or some sort. "Come on, this is just a favor. I promise I owe you coffee and your favorite cupcake" Max gave me the puppy eyes which I gave in a few seconds after. "Fine. And if you don't have them, I'm going to break your guitar and I'm serious about it" I warned him, staring him deeply in brown eyes. Oh he knows my weaknesses, alright?

"Yeah sure little sis. I promise." He looked at his watch and grabbed his backpack "well, I have to go. Wish me luck! See you later, little one!" Max ruffled my hair as I swat his hands away from me.  "I am not little!" I pouted at him "Yeah right" he snorted and hurriedly jog his way out of the house. . I really hate it when people call me little. I'm 5 feet and 2 inches tall! There's a difference! Having an older brother has its perks and disadvantages. Sometimes it's fun but sometimes... You'll really regret it.

Doing chores or planning on doing chores can lead you to procrastination. Trust me, personal experiences. I was about to clean the whole house but the spirit of laziness told me not to. I ended up calling Elizabeth while I wait for Max to come home with my favorite goodies in his hands.

"There's this new guy in our school and I tell you, he's hot." Elizabeth squealed through the phone, still blabbering about this attractive, hot transferee. "Okay then." I replied, finishing the last touch of my homemade grilled cheese nachos. "I heard his name is Aiden William-"before finishing her sentence, I cut her off. "William Shakespeare? Whoa, he really is attractive!" I beamed not letting my best friend finish her sentence.

"No, you douche bag! His name is Aiden William Smith, I heard he grew up in London but then his parents decided to live here; which was a good decision. And also, he has this really cute accent!" She let out another squeal, causing me to roll my eyes. "And where did you get those facts?" She ignored my question and pull out a different topic. "So, what happened to you? I didn't see you earlier." Elizabeth asked. Having a flashback on what happened earlier at the library, I groaned and told her the whole story. Still, the guy pisses me off, just thinking about the incident. After telling her everything, all she said was "Was the guy cut and hot?" So flattered that she cares more about the hot stranger than her best friend. (Note the sarcasm)

After hours of spending my time reading Da Vinci Code by the infamous Dan Brown, my brother went home at exact 8:00 p.m. with my favorite coffee and cupcake in his hands. That's what I love about my brother, he doesn't break his promises.

"How's the date, big bro?" I munched on my cupcake, waiting for his reply. The tall boy sighed "It's tiring but it's worth it" Max let out a small smile and looked at me. "Whatever, dork. You're weird when you're in love" I ruffled his hair and stood up from the couch, grabbing all the food that I have with me. "Shut up you still love me though" He winked at me, making me look at him with disgust. "Yeah sure." I shrugged and went to my room.
