Classes were finally over and for being just the first day it was sure to be exhausting. "Are we heading home now?" Lyla asked, she walked with Mike and Hamantha all the way to the front of the campus, her hair was all loose and her clothes as organized as ever. She really had a nice style.
"Yes, I'm so tired and already have homework. That guy is no joke." Mike said, "yeah, he's really intense." Hamantha replied, she was playing with her hair, the three of them waited for the bus, the area was quite busy with people still walking and/or trying to catch a bus home. "So Hamantha, right? What are you studying?" She asked her, Hamantha looked at the pretty woman who was taking interest in her, nobody ever asked what she did or what she wanted to do, she felt happy that somebody was taking notice for once. "I'm studying Religion, I wanna teach it when I graduate." She said, Lyla nodded.
Hamantha: What about you?
Lyla: I'm studying to become a detective, crime has always been an interest of mine–as well as something personal.
Mike: Something personal?
Lyla: I don't wanna get into it, what about you Mike? What are you studying?
Mike: Software design, so far so good.
Lyla: Wow! That sounds like fun.
Mike: It is actually.
Hamantha: (They're so cool, I wish I was as pretty as them.)
*the bus arrives and they get in*
*they sit together and keep talking to each other*
Hamantha: (I wonder, are they dating? They look good together.)
Lyla: So Hamantha, What things do you like to do?
Hamantha: *!!* Oh I-I-I like d-doing a lot of t-t-things. But my favorite thing I-I-is t-taking pictures.
Lyla: That's nice, I've been meaning to use me myself, do you think you can teach me?
Hamantha: (the pretty girl wants my help, she likes to take pictures too) y-yeah I-I Can.
Lyla: Awesome! How about we exchange numbers. So we can work on a day that is good for both of us.
*they exchange numbers*
Lyla: Let's name a group chat! Mike, would you like to join?
Mike: Yeah sure, here's my number.
*they make a group chat 💬*
Lyla: Great! We're all set.
Hamantha: (I have more friends)
Mike: This is our stop, bye Hamantha.
Hamantha: Okay bye bye
*the bus leaves*
Lyla: What should we make for dinner?
Mike: Don't know we'll see what we have.
*they walk inside and see Cherrie already cooking*
Cherrie: Relax, I got this.
Lyla: Okay, thank you Ms!
Mike: Thanks.
Cherrie: How did you like your first day?
Mike: Alright I guess, are you really a teacher?
Cherrie: Of course I am, but I also have other jobs. Why do you ask?
Mike: No reason, just curious. I'm gonna work on some homework in the meantime.
Cherrie: Sure thing.
He walks to his room laying down his bag and jacket on the bed. He takes out his computer and starts looking up information on the basics of software design. He already knew them but if he wanted to pass he had to research them. He saw a notification for an article page je always reads, he clicked it and saw the tittle. It was about the murders, they had found another body.
ANOTHER BODY FOUND NEAR LAKE FALLS
The body of 29 year old Braxton Lowes was found today after two joggers were currently exercising around the area. The police have already taken over the crime and from the small details we could obtain we know it's the same person, in other words we might have a serial killer on our hands. With this discovery of the body police have connected all the dots they needed and are sure that this is a serial case.
