Ren woke to a small knock on her door. She got up and quickly walked over to the door opening it knowing exactly who it was by his scent. "Hello Patch. Is something wrong?"

He scratched his head and looked at her grinning. "Just seeing if you wanted some breakfast, I made some pancakes and bacon."

Ren looked at him eyes wide. She could eat normal food but it did nothing for her the venom would just act like acid and dissolve it all as if it was never there. She looked at Patch again and smiled. "Sure I just need to get dressed then I'll be right down."

She watched him pump his fist in the air with success and run down the stairs. She looked outside seeing it was cloudy enough for her to be okay outside for a bit. But she could tell it was going to get much brighter out. She slipped on one of the lacy bras Rose ordered and a matching pair of boy shorts. She then went into the closet and found a red sundress and a throw over to cover her arms. She covered her legs in some sunscreen Erick had found to be useful for a few hours if they had to go outside into the sun. She brushed her long, brown hair and smiled looking into the mirror. The locket she always kept on laid over her breasts. Her mother was always with her when she wore the locket and it kept her comfortable in many occasions. She nodded to the mirror before leaving the room barefooted. This time she made sure to take her time walking into the kitchen where Patch was cooking with country music playing. They ate breakfast and asked each other questions and made plans for tomorrow since it was Sunday Patch kept his place closed.

After breakfast Patch brought in an apron for Ren for work and told her the shirts were upstairs in his room, he went back out into the garage to move some things so that she could park her car inside. As she walked upstairs she heard something in the back yard. Looking out the window leading outside to the yard seeing a man sneaking towards the garage. Ren quickly jumped out the window from the second floor and onto the suspect grabbing and pinning his arms behind his back.

"Ow what the hell?!" The man yelled and tried to look at me. "Get off me! Patch!"

The guy was yelling for his target to help him? That made no sense. The man struggled under her grip. Patch came over tugging on Ren's pull over ripping it right off of her while her grip was still on the man. The sun quickly hit her skin, having it started to burn and blister. A hiss escaped her lungs as she took off up the stairs into her room hiding in the darkest place possible. Holding her hand mirror looking at the damage. Ren's eyes were there blood red again like the many times she'd been injured or in need to feed. Her hair even did something where it would fade to blond her skin wasn't going to fix itself unless she feed. She listened to her surroundings. Patch was talking to the man she had just attacked and they were laughing.

"I'm sorry man. I'll see you at work tonight." Patch said running inside. "Ren where are you at?"

She heard the blood pumping through his veins, her fangs popping out. She couldn't let him see her like this. Already her cover could have been blown because she didn't take precaution and check the male that was in the yard only moments ago.

"Ren come on! I need to make sure you're ok that sun allergy looks like it did a lot of damage to you." His body now in her room. A small whimper escaped her lips as she smelt Patch scent get closer to her. He was so close yet she had to keep her distance. The door to her closet started to slide open, making Ren panic.

"Stop!" Ren yelled. Her eyes squeezing shut hiding as much hair as possible.

"Come on Ren your allergy to the sun can't be that bad." He dragged Ren out of the closet onto her bed sitting her down. The shades were all shut so the sun wouldn't peak in and hurt her. "What the hell Ren? Your Blistered as if someone set a hot iron on your skin. I thought you'd just have a really bad sun burn."
