Chapter 2

Second Person POV

*flashback 3 months ago*

You just came back to Japan after finishing your studies abroad. The half-day-long flight really made you groggy but nothing can compare to the excitement that you have.

You know you just have to come home immediately once you receive your degree. Your sister has been pestering you to help her with her proposal to Kuroko. And you're twice as excited as you're finally going to meet your boyfriend after a long time.

During your stay abroad, you kept in contact with Aomine. Every summer, you came back to Japan and hang out with him. You promised each other that you'll stay faithful and love each other no matter the distance.

You got together when he was in his last year at Touou Academy for his senior high and you were in your last year in Teiko Middle School, the school where all the Generation of Miracles graduated from. You went to Touou Academy by yourself, following your sister in secret. When you saw that Aomine was alone, you decided to confess to him. To which he accepted and became your boyfriend on one condition.

You pulled out your cellphone and decided to call him but he didn't answer. Perhaps he's busy with his new company project, you thought so to yourself. You were still able to talk to him though before your flight back to Japan. So, you are sure that he is not mad or anything.

It was getting dark but even when exhausted from the long flight and hungry, you decided to go to the park where you and Aomine often had your secret dates, dragging your luggage and  carry-on bag with you. You sat at one of the benches near the playground, reminiscing the times you had with Aomine. 

Then suddenly, you saw him pass by you.

He's talking to someone on the phone. You guessed that he has just finished work as he was still wearing his work clothes.

"Daiki-kun!" you stood up and shouted. Making him turn around.

"[y|n]?" he mouthed.

'My Daiki, you're still as handsome as ever.' You said to yourself.

You ran up to him and gave him the biggest hug you can ever give.

"I missed you so much! Did you miss me?" you said waiting for his reaction.

While hugging him, you tiptoed and tried to kiss him but he looked away. You missed your aim and ended up kissing his cheek instead.

"Are you shy? Or, are you surprised?" you asked, still smiling at him. Oblivious to the meaning of his reactions.

He does look surprised so it made you happy. You let go of the hug and tried to reach for something from your bag.

"By the way, I bought you something. Tadaaa!"

You said as you showed him a box of the latest smartwatch. You thought that this was a good idea as he often forgets his phone and misses your calls.

"This is for you Daiki-kun. I hope you like it. Also, I was trying to call you earlier so we can have din--"

"Daiki! Over here"

You got cut off by a woman who was approaching the two of you. She called your boyfriend by his first name. He shoved the box of smartwatch back to you.

She held Aomine's arm, hugging it as a girlfriend would do. You observed him but he didn't flinch even by a bit. She slid her hands to his, intertwining them.

"I'm sorry I was late. Oh, sorry. We're you two talking? Did I interrupt your conversation just now?"

Your heart started beating fast. This can't be happening, after all those memories and promises.

Watching as the woman's hands entangle with your boyfriend's, made you feel like a thousand daggers relentlessly stabbing your heart.

"What the is this Daiki-kun? Who is she?" you asked him with a shaky voice. Tears already building up at the corners of your eyes.

"I'm sorry who are you?" asked the bitch beside him.

"Don't mind her. She's one of those stalkers who still stalk the members of the generation of miracles up 'til now. Let's go." he said, not even looking at me.

My eyes widened at his response. Yet, I tried to hold his other hand, not letting him go.

"Daiki-kun! Where are you going? We have to talk. Please tell me it's not what I think it is. Please!" you pleaded, crying. Still holding on to his hand.

You can't believe what was happening but you know that if he apologizes right now and admits his wrongdoings, you'll accept back him no matter what.

"I don't even know you!" he shook his hand off, making you almost lose your balance.

You held his arms with both your hands, trying not to let him take one more step.

"Stop bothering us!" the idiotic bitch yelled.

"Shut up!" you yelled back.

You yelled at the woman who is still clinging to Aomine. It was very rare for you to yell but you were mad, heartbroken, and exhausted right now.

"Daiki-kun, please! You told me to keep our relationship a secret. I followed everything you said. Leave her and let's talk. You promised me!"

You never told anyone about your relationship as per his request. Not even your sister knew, nor any of his friends.

"I said, I don't know you! Let go!" with all his might, he managed to remove your hand from him and pushed you off the ground.

You knew you looked pathetic but you still stood up and managed to grab his hand.

"I love you, Daiki! Please, please let's talk," you shouted. He pushed you again, making you fall on your behind.

"Daiki!" you shouted. But he never looked back.

"Please come back to me," you said to yourself, while still on the ground.

"I love y--" you whispered before fully collapsing.
