Twist ending

Chapter 1

The titans got rid of the nano tech inside them before these events take place.

The titans had gone home after the tiring fight with Slade, Robin  continuously apologized to the others on the way home. The titans had forgiven him as the fight was not his fault.

"Dear friend the Robin, could you tell us what happened when you were with the evil man?" Starfire spoke softly while setting her hand on Robins shoulder. Robin tensed at the small touch.

"Sure, I'll tell you. " He touched Starfires wrist "But could could we sit down first." Moving her hand away.

"Of course." A small smile appeared as she backed away. The teens settled around Robin on the couch all eager to know what truly happened, they stared intently at him.  He told the story start to finish not forgetting a single detail, the eyes of his friends never leaving him.

"There's one more thing, Cyborg could you run a scan on me?"glancing towards the robot man next to him.

"I mean yeah I could but why?"

"He changed something about me, something with my adrenaline or something."

"And you want to know exactly what he did?"Robin nodded slowly looking back towards the floor. Cyborg got up and walked to the door to set every thing up. All were silent in the room, his heart now was the only thing fueling his head ache.

A few minuets had passed and his patience was running thin. Everyone had gotten restless waiting for Cyborg to come back, Raven was meditating without a word along with Starfire who was fidgeting, Beast boy went to check on Cyborg.

The doors opened with the two teens in them, Robin stood and walked towards them without a word. Walking to the medical room with the others following close behind felt like an eternity, the black haired teen was fidgeting with his gloves until they reached the familiar door.

Once all five were in the room looking at various things Cyborg stepped towards a panel.

"I just need you to take off your shirt and put these on." Motioning towards a pile of what the group assumed were probes. Once all was said and done Robin was laying in the table, Cyborg and the others standing elsewhere in the room.

"Fair warning, this might hurt." Cyborg claimed, a second later the pain started.

'Might' hurt was an understatement and a huge one at that, the pain shooting through the teen was excruciating to say the least. The teen was thrashing about the table trying to free himself from the binds keeping him down, blood was seeping from his palms and tears threatened to stream down his face, his arms were bleeding from the amount of resistance on the binds.

The ten second it took for the scan felt like ten minuets for all in the room.  Robin was still resisting against the binds while breathing hard, the other teens rushed towards him.

"Dude what the heck!"

"What do you want me to do!? It's not supposed to hurt that much!"

"Friend Cyborg why did it hurt him this much!"

"It wasn't supposed to!" All the frantic voices of the titans drowns out the cloaked girl putting the pained teen to sleep.

"Guys." All go silent. Not a sound to be heard by any of them.

"Cyborg, what did the scan pick up on Robin?" Raven asks floating towards the monitor.

"Nothing."

"That's gre-"

"Something blocked the scan, I couldn't get any readings."Cyborg continued cutting off Starfires celebration.

"Then what blocked the scan might be connected to the pain he experienced." Raven turned to look at the sleeping teen.
