Eskuak POV
I, Eskuak have been searching for the Dawn Wolves. I need to speak with the Alpha, so maybe I can get into the pack. I don't know what I'm going to do if I get rejected from the pack. I need to join The Dawn Wolves. If I don't, I will die. If I'm going to be submitted as a gnaw wolf, so be it.
I will get beat, I will get bruised, but I won't be killed. I really do not want to become a gnaw wolf, but you got to do what you got to do to stay alive, right? I've always dreamed of running with the biggest pack of Germany, but if I'm submitted as a gnaw wolf all of my dreams would be crushed to pieces and eaten by the wolves.
I've heard The Dawn Wolves territory is on the north side of Germany. I've been traveling ever since my birth mother had died, my mother had always talked about how I needed to get to Dawn Wolves territory, because she would never be able to. I have two brothers, and one sister. They travel with me, and keep me company.
Terre, My biggest brother, he's a very dark brown color, with bright yellow eyes. Yuka, My littlest brother, his coat is gray with streaks of black, and blue eyes. Ereka, my sister, her coat is light yellow and black, almost like mine. She has light green eyes.
By my instinct, we've been going north. We trot four miles, the walk two, we usually go for a sprint, and that lasts 6 miles. By the place the sun rises, I know we are going north. I've been taught how to tell direction by my mother. She told me that the sun rises in the north and it sets in the south. The right side of where the sun rises is east, and the left is west.
Me and my family had never had a pack. My mother had always told us to get a pack, and treat everyone with respect. Unless you are a higher rank. My mother had told us to always, always be a beta or a higher rank, no matter what. Not a omega, nor a gnaw. I may have to disobey my mom to get into this pack, but it's for the best.
My dream has always been to run in a byrrgris. I know that if I'm a gnaw wolf, I will never be able to do that.
"Are we there yet?" Yuka had said. "No." I responded, agitated. "Why?" "For Lupus' sake shut your snout!" I snarled, raising my paw and smacking him in the snout. "Lupus, okay. Sorry" He said, his tail tucked under his hind legs. "You better be sorry" Terre, muttered under his breath.
I started a trot, casually speeding up. I sniffed the air, then let my snout down to sniff the ground. I picked up the scent of a Cow elk. I barked at my youngers, signaling there is prey. I sped up to a sprint and sniffed the ground again, the scent is stronger. I slow down knowing the Elk will only be a bit away.
About 60 feet away I spotted the elk, It was limping. It seems a lone wolf had nipped its rear and couldn't get it down. I wandered back to my youngers and signaled to them to get into place. I was in the front, on the right, Terre on the left. Yuka and Ereka were in the back.
I sprinted in, and the elk started running as fast as its three legs would let it. I barked at my youngers, signaling them to start chasing. I sped up to attack speed, I got close enough to nip the Elk's whithers. I tried grabbing hold of its leg with my teeth, but it was running, fast. Ereka, was by my side. She was exceptionally fast. She got infront of the elk and bit down on its neck. The elk slowed down to a trot and I jumped on top of it and bit the back of its neck.
Terre ran infront of the elk and helped Ereka pull it down to the ground. I gave it one last bite and I watched it slowly slip into death. I looked over at Yuka and he was standing there. "Yuka!" I snarl, walking over to him. "The elk could have gotten away, and you were here sitting like a little pup!?" I growl at him. "You're not a puppy anymore, Yuka!" I lunge at him and bite the back of his neck.
