OKAY SO I now have a thing for country music SOULY because of this man. Like I could honestly imagine Sam jamming out to country music and Darlin saying she hates even tho secretly she's obsessed with him singing it. Also every time I listen to Josh Turner I SWEAR I CAN HEAR SAM. So that's what this one is gonna be about 👍
After inversion
No one's POV
It was an early Sunday morning and the just reached day break. Sam decided to stay the night with Darlin so he'd have an excuse to be stuck with her.
Sam said "you've eaten breakfast right?" He's always making sure she's eating something and that the pantry is always stocked up with food.
"In a minuteeee" she replied. She just didn't want to get out of bed. She laid there swiping on TikTok and looking and all the drafts she made last night.
While she was distracted, Sam went to go plug in the speakers and connect the Bluetooth. "Sam, what are you doing?"
"Nothing darlin, go back to TikTok"
Suddenly a 'Bluetooth connected' could be heard from around the corner.

"Sam don't you dare" she says jokingly. Sam pokes his head around the corner to see her reaction with a grin on his face.
He grabs the hair brush and starts singing, hitting all the notes. He stares into her eyes and she quickly turns her head the other way. Not fast enough. Sam notices the slight blush on her cheeks. She loves it.
Suddenly Sam grabs her hand and pulls her off the bed. "Dance with me darlin" he says with a smile. Sam begins to sing along, "if I gave you my hand would you take it and make me the happiest man in the world!" They hook arms and start skipping in a circle and then the other way. She couldn't stop laughing. Sam grabs her hand and she twirls in circles. He then dips her gently and places a soft kiss on her lips.
"I love you so.. so would you go with me?" Being able to hear Sam' beautiful voice over the music, she replied "of course baby."
Sam pulls her in close. With his hands on her waist and her arms around his neck, they slowly sway from side to side.
"I know you love it when I play my music"
"It's annoying"
"Sure it is darlin"
