Chapter 06 - The Kim Family

It was 8 PM by now and Jisoo arrived at The Kim mansion. The maids were bow at him as he entered the mansion.

"Where's my father Mr. Park?" He asked The Kim's butler.

"Ah, he is in his office room." Answered the 70s old man.

"Okay thank you." Jisoo then headed to his father office room. He knocked and entered the room. The old man who sat on the desk turned his gaze from the papers to Jisoo.

"Dad." Jisoo gave Kim Seung-hyun a 90 degrees bow. The old man smiled and got up from his chair then walked to Jisoo.

"My son." He said and hugged Jisoo. "How's life?" He asked while walking back to his chair and Jisoo was following him.

"Just fine dad." he then sat on the chair across his father. Seung-hyun saw his son was not as cheerful as usual.

"I heard about Ji Hwan, I'm sorry to hear that, son."

Jisoo let a sighed out "Yes, dad.. It was my fault.."

"Why was it your fault?"

"Emmh.. I was right there but I can't protect him. I think my skill is dull now." Jisoo said a little nervous because he realized he almost brought the wrong topic.

"Well, we can't protect all the people we want. But you don't try too much on protecting someone. You must protect yourself first. You're my son and it's every Kim obligation that should protect you." He said, Jisoo just nodded to avoid any argument with his father.

"Well since you already finished your study, you should get down to the business now I have plan for you already."

"You do already, Dad?"

"Yes.. Hmmm.. I really want you to take care our shipping business, it's your uncle now who handle this business. I want you to help him and learn a lot from him. When the time is right, I'll let you take the lead."

"Huh? Why do I take the legal business?" Jisoo asked. Despite the illegal business that of course hit the success, the Kim also have some legal business which actually just a cover for their illegal one.

"Well, I need you in legal field while I need Hae-in in illegal one."

"But, that's no fun Dad." Jisoo protested, he already imagines how he going just stuck with papers and dull things and no more fighting which can pleasure his overflow adrenaline.

"Why? Because you think no more action or fighting on that field?" Seung-hyun who can read his son as easy as reading an open book, smiled to see how his son was thirst of violent. Jisoo nodded as agreement.

"You think our shipping company will only ship a legal goods? It also delivers our illegal goods as well." Seung-hyun chuckled. "You haven't get down there yet, why do you think it going to be no fighting there. It's shipping, it delivers and send our 'goods' it's hold a main part in our business." He explained.

"But..."

"Here, I give you a hint, two weeks from now there will be a shipment of our 'goods'.. it's weapons, two 40 feets container full of it. Our buyer, want to check those goods first before sign the papers. But, we still have to be careful because we get this buyer turned to us from the Kwon, they must be piss off if they knew." He chuckled "You and Hae-in should go and make everything under control." He added, Jisoo gulped as he realize there might be another fight between the Kim and the Kwon, he really hope Jennie won't be there. So at least he must be there to make everything okay.

"Well dad doesn't want a grumpy and lunatic man like you to handle fields which require a brain." Jisoo said while continuing his step, he wanted get out from here as soon as possible.

"Legal fields means Dad thinks you're a sissy, brother." He whispered to Jisoo who just passing him but loud enough intentionally to be heard by Jisoo.

"That's its you bastard!" Jisoo lost his temper. He turned and gave Hae-in a punch on the face made him almost fell. Hae-in shocked but he continued to laugh.

"Look here, your punch is like a sissy too." He said and returned the punch to him. Jisoo almost lost his balance because of the punch he holds his jaw which in pain.

Jisoo attacked him again punched him on the stomach then they're rolling, punching, choking, kicking brutally each other, they don't mind to see bloods were being spilled out. Their eyes flaring like what they see now in front of them is an enemy, an enemy that should be knocked down, they fighting as if they're not blood related siblings.

When the fight seems have drained out their energy, Hae-in kicked Jisoo that made him fell a little far, Hae-in took off his gun and shot Jisoo hesitantly. Jisoo avoid it just in time, he still can feel the hot bullet passing near his ear. His anger going to the max, he then got up and also took off his gun and shot to Hae-in which he can also avoid. Jisoo moves forward to Hae-in direction and still shooting him furiously, which unfortunately he always can avoid while he also moving forward to Jisoo's direction. And now each other's gun is in front of each other's face. They were panting, they looked a mess, blood in Jisoo's lips. Blood also in Hae-in temple and it slide to his eye, made him in disadvantage.

'Should I just shot him? I really hate this jerk!

' Jisoo think in his mind, he glaring to Hae-in furiously. '

I should just shot him when I got a chance...!

' Another sound in his mind urging him to shot his brother. But, when Jisoo just wanted to shot Hae-in..

"Excuse me young sirs, if you make a mess in here I'm sure Mr Kim wouldn't be happy. You all must be know what happen when he's angry." The old butler, Mr Park said calmly, he came up from the main door. He already knew this could be happen when the siblings met, he gets used to the almost-killing-each-other-scene the siblings made almost every time they met. They mostly fight over a simple thing when they left just the two of them alone, they only behave in front of their father or other people in their clan. The brothers sighed and at least Jisoo put the gun down first.

"I'm sorry Mr Park, I'm really going home now." Jisoo said and turned to walk to his car while spit the blood and tried to act he doesn't listen to Hae-in who still mocking him.

It was always like this between Jisoo and Hae-in, they never can get along with each other. Hae-in is the son of Seung-hyun first wife while Jisoo is son from Seung-hyun second wife. Seung-hyun married to Jisoo's mother while he's still marrying Hae-in's mother and Hae-in thought his mother was getting suffer from his father second marriage and made his mother commit suicide. That's why Hae-in really hate Jisoo.

"You will see what awaits you brother !" Hae-in smirked while he saw Jisoo got into his car.
