Chapter 9

Kannabi Bridge mission

Sasuke and Kurama were in the Kannabi bridge mission with team Minato. They really don't want to leave they pregnant husband alone especially Naruto had another 4 months until he due. But this is the important mission for them, this mission is the reason the fourth shinobi war happened and they want to avoid the fourth shinobi war from happening.

So they had no other option then to do it and leave Naruto in Kushina and Mikoto care. Right now Sasuke and Kurama were running tree by tree with team Minato in front of them, the six of them just leave Konoha and start they mission 4 hours ago and Minato decide to take a break. Since they have been running and hopping around to their destination without rest and they already encounter with enemies of Iwa because they in the middle of war and their opponent is Iwagakure.

Minato stop the in the middle of the forest and look at his student and son-in-laws went he notice is getting dark. "Alright, we will stay here for tonight. Obito and Rin will build a tent, Kakashi and I will find the firewood while Sasuke-kun and Kurama-san will find the food. If everyone clear, let's start to work." Everyone nodded and they start their task at hand.

The next morning, they continue to move again. Minato, Sasuke and Kurama already make a plan to make sure they success this mission without losing someone in their team. Sasuke already explain to Minato the story behind this mission, saw the shock on Minato face is understatement knowing his student death and then knowing that his student is alive but turn into evil after that and the one leading of the beginning of the Fourth great shinobi waris completely broke him.

The three of them decided to let the stories goes just like before because it led to Kakashi change his view as a true shinobi but this time they won't let Obito died. So with Minato, Sasuke and Kurama goes to front line and Kakashi will lead Obito and Rin to destroy the bridge. When team Kakashi separate and goes to they own destination, Sasuke make a clone and follow them in shadow to watch after them and help them when the times comes.

Just like what happen before, the group of Iwa nin attack team Kakashi and abducted Rin. Obito want to chase after them and save Rin but stopped by Kakashi, telling him that they need to finish they mission and didn't even care a slightest bit of his female teammate. Said that the mission go first than his comrade, for that Obito can't take it anymore and give some sense on Kakashi and go after Rin leaving a dumbstruck Kakashi alone.

After that, Kakashi curse himself and go after Obito. When he arrive, he saw Obito were fighting with one of the enemies and saw that he had a problem to defeat them. So he come to help, they manage to defeat two Iwa nin with resulting Obito got his Sharingan and Kakashi lost his left eyes. But they don't have much time and go inside the cave where Rin is, they manage to save her but they didn't notice the last member of the enemy also with them.

The enemy use an earth jutsu at them making the cave they were in start to collapse. The three of them tried to run to the exits before they got crashed, Kakashi help Rin to run because she don't have any strength to run from the effect of the Genjutsu that was put on her and Obito trail behind them. Suddenly a large rock falling on Kakashi left side and Obito saw it first. "KAKASHI WATCH OUT!!" scream Obito, Kakashi heard him and saw the rock coming at him. He froze on the spot with his eyes wide, Obito hurriedly run and push him preventing him getting hit.

"OBITO!!" shout Kakashi shocked when Obito push him for getting crumble from the falling rock and replacing him from getting impacted instead. Rin also look shock with her hand cupped at her mouth with tears, "Obito? OBITO!!" Kakashi run to where Obito is but was stopped by Rin "Kakashi, no. It too dangerous." Kakashi pull his arm from Rin grip harshly "I don't care, Obito in there. We need to save him." exclaim Kakashi in despair. "Heh~ I don't know you care about me Bakashi." said the familiar voice, Kakashi and Rin turn to where voice came from.

When the crumbling is subdued, they can see two figure behind the mist of dust. When the dust was gone completely, it show Obito with Sasuke standing there on other side of crumble but the two of them mostly focused on Obito looking at him unharmed. The two sigh in relief when they see Obito was okay, the two hurried goes to where Obito is. "Are you okay Obito?" ask Rin still worried and checking him from any injured. Obito face turn red in embarrassed when Rin do that and he look away to make sure she don't saw his blushing at her.

"I-I'm okay, Rin. Sasuke-san save me." said Obito. Now he say it, the two look up at the raven hair teenage Uchiha and saw him beside Obito. Obito turn to him, "Sasuke-san, thank you for saving my life." said Obito in gratitude. "Hn" respond Sasuke monotone, he then walk to Kakashi and put his hand on his left eyes that was slashed. His hand glow purple and then disappear, after that Sasuke pull away his hand form Kakashi eyes. "Try open your eyes" order Sasuke, Kakashi tried to open his left eyes slowly and were shock that he can still see with both of his eyes.

Sasuke nodded in satisfies while the other two members of team 7 gag at him when they saw their teammates eye is healed perfectly. They look between Kakashi and the oldest teen with complete disbelieve and Sasuke felt they reaction but he ignore them and walk to where the Kannabi bridge is and realize that the kids didn't follow. "What are waiting for? We have a mission to complete." said Sasuke without any emotion in his voice.

The three heard him and hurriedly follow him. Team 7 had many question they want to ask the teen but they hold it for awhile because they have a mission to achieve.
