Chapter 1

Lennox corp. is a large and successful company which is preoccupied in many different departments such as fashion, banks, automobiles, entertainment and etc.

The reason why Lennox corp. reached so far up is because of its new CEO. Well not really that new, Ezra Dominique was given the CEO's title at the bright young age of 24 when the previous ceo both the owner and founder of the company was impressed by her work in their company over 3 years.

Her over achieving resume and performance at work made it pretty obvious as to who the CEO's post was gonna belong to.

Fast forwarding to 1 year later we have Elen yelling on the phone for the documents of yesterday's meeting.

"What is going on here?"

Glancing away from the phone to see her boss she starts to explain.

"Ms. Ezra it's Norris again he misplaced the notes for yesterday's meeting."

Sighing Ezra takes a seat at her table.

"What about the recordings?"

"The cameraman quit yesterday morning." Her eye twitches but she keeps herself calm.

"And why am I finding about this now."

"I told the secretery to inform you of the change but I assume she forgot because of the event arranging."

This day was going worse by the second.

"What is Norris doing right now."

"He is looking for the files"

"Connect me to the line." Ezra picks up the phone asking Norris and somehow guiding him to the file from a mental image of how things were placed in there leaving Elen stunned.

"There you go now fetch me my schedule for today's mor-afternoon." Correcting herself as she looks at her watch.

"I swear I'll never understand how you manage to always help Norris I mean that guy is the literal defination of off-track." Elen says while handing her the folder.

"It's not that hard, now then why did the cameraman quit?"

"He got a new job."

Pausing her work for a moment she looks up at elen.

"Why?"

"He was 22 Ezra you really think someone so young would wanna spend their days recording meetings." Elen said in a matter of fact tone.

"Well it could get a bit tiresome at times but nothing too bad."

Elen looks at her boss with wide eyes as if she just did a cartwheel.

"He's young, people don't want to sit in a office all day you know."

"But it pays well."

Shaking her head Elen gives up making her boss understand interests of the young.

"Forget it."

Shruging and changing to a serious expression she asks, "The event is in 2 days we can afford to not have a cameraman till then but send a notice to the staff, speaking of which did we appoint a photographer for the event?"

"Not yet but I did get a recommendation from one of my acquaintces about this one."

Elen takes out a thin file and lays out the beautiful pictures on the table.

Ezra's eyes linger on them, there were all types of pics from small celebrities to common parties.

"Will they be okay if informed right now?"

"I can give them a call."

"Alright then we will go with this one, inform me if they accept the job and I'll see you after lunch."

Nodding Elen packs her stuff and leaves the office.

Taking of her glasses Ezra rubs her eyelids. This event was an important one for the company where all the co-founders were gonna be attending to check the company's progress which will be followed by a mini party.

Sighing she puts her glasses back and starts going through documents.

"Tiresome is indeed the right word to describe this job."

"No prob I'll be there." Ava happily accepts the company's offer to work at their progress evaluation event.

"Got a new job again?" Onyx, Ava's childhood friend asks.

Giving her a nod Ava takes the shake and gulps it down. After performing for 2 whole hours the group was pretty tired and so they decided to take a break and catch up on news.

"Man what's it this time, another celebrity?" West asks scrolling on his phone.

"A company actually what was it's name again, Lennox corp. I think."

Onyx's eyes bulge when she hears that looking at Ava to figure out if she was lying or not.

"Are you serious!?"

"Uhm yeah." Hit with a quizzical look from Ava Onyx snatches her phone and shows her the Google result on the corporation.

"Holy shit that's big!!" Taking her phone back she scrolls down.

"How come you didn't know about it, that company's pretty much everywhere like literally take a look over there." West points to a poster outside a fashion shop through the window. It was written clear in big words with a stunning model wearing a gorgeous bag with what Ava assumed to be the company's logo.

"So they make bags?"

"Not only bags but cars, filming equipment, and all the fashion stuff too it's gotten insanely popular in the last 2 years."

"Why only in last 2 years?" Ava asks going on the news tab for the search.

"It's cuz they got a new CEO or smth, the owner gave the position to her when she was 24 making her one of the young successful bachelorettes in the buisness world." Athena recites as if it was a school speech.

"Why do you know so much about this." Ava asks.

"Well I kinda knew it all by mistake I was going thro a list of hot young celebrities and I saw her name so I searched and yeah."

"In that case tell me more about this event ima be working at." Putting down her phone and turning to Athena.

"Well I heard it's an important one where all the founders are gonna be coming -"

"So you are telling me it's gonna be a boring ass work event." Ava says slumping back in the booth.

Squeezing her grip on the table Athena continues "Well if you had let me finish you would know they are also having a party after the work stuff."

"Oh so it's not gonna be all boring then, got it." Perking right back up she picks her bag and leaves her order pay on the table.

"I'll get going guys need to be there by six, see y'all around later." Waving to the band crew she makes her way out of the cafe to her other job.
