"He's here George!" The woman shouted. Peter Harrison was born on the 9th March 1843 and had a hard childhood. He lived in a small cottage at the outskirts of a village with his mother and father. However, his parents were not so nice. They would whip and beat him up everyday even when he had done nothing wrong. Sometimes they had done the wrong thing and would blame it all on there innocent child. At the time, Peter had bruises covering his body from being beaten by his vile parents. Hitting your children was completely normal and everybody did it as if it was not hurting them in any way. Peter's family had barely enough money to survive, so food was rationed inside the house. The family would only have one meal a day each, but sometimes Peter would have nothing due to him doing something his parents didn't like. A skinny boy he was, because of the lack of food. Peter had chestnut hair that was once blonde, so you can see hints of it. His ripped clothes looked as if they hadn't been washed for decades; they were poor, they couldn't afford to wash anything. The young boy didn't enjoy his life, but he was still grateful for having a roof over his head and people to look after him.
