Chapter 16: Rose catches a Spoink.

[The next day] "Maro!" Alolan Marowak says. "Spoi!" says a voice. Me, Adrien, Alya, Nino, and Rose come out of our tents, and we see a Spoink.

Cubone comes out, and runs to Alolan Marowak. "Cu!" Cubone says. "Maro!" Alolan Marowak says. Spoink goes over to Cubone. "Spoi!" Spoink says. Alolan Marowak protects Cubone from Spoink. "Wow, is anyone else getting over-protective mother vibes?" Rose asks.

"Spoink!" Spoink says. "Alolan Marowak! You're scaring Spoink!" Rose says. Snubbull comes out, and so do Growlithe and Roserade. Cubone gets angry at Alolan Marowak. "Mom! Don't be mean to my friend!" Cubone says. We all gasp. "Cubone just spoke!" Adrien says. "Uh..... oppsie!" Cubone says. "Another Pokemon that can speak! This is so cool!" Meowth says.

"Um.... surprise?" Cubone asks. "This is so embarrassing!" Cubone says. Even Alolan Marowak is shocked! Cubone hits Meowth on the head. "Ow! What was that for?" Meowth asks. "I just felt like it!" Cubone says.

"Why I otta!" Meowth says, and he tries to attack Cubone, but Alolan Marowak stops him. "Marow!" Alolan Marowak says. "I know you're overprotective of him, but sheesh! You don't have to stop somebody from hurting your kid!" Meowth says. "Mar!" Alolan Marowak says. "Ok, maybe you do need to protect him, but still!" Meowth says.

I notice that Spoink has disappeared. "Where did Spoink go?" I ask. Everyone else sees that Spoink is gone, except for Rose. "Don't worry guys, I just caught Spoink!" Rose says. We all sigh.
