Replacement-Roy Harper x Artemis Crock

"Urrgh!" Artemis groaned. Roy wasn't even there and he could still make her blood boil. He had just video contacted the team with a mission and the words he said to her made her so embarrassed in front of the team and he made her so annoyed. 

"Hey Arty" that nickname made her brain explode but at the same time, deep down in the pit of her stomach, she kind of liked it. "Now, in this mission you will need to actually use your bow. Do you think you can handle it?" he smirked.

"Yes" she growled though that smirk made her mind fuzzy.

"Great Arty" he smiled and winked. Artemis scowled and tried to hide her blush. After that she stormed off to get ready for the mission. On the mission, Artemis had to make a tricky shot make but she was too distracted by Roy. She hesitated and missed, thankfully Roy was on the ball and got the shot. Thankfully, the rest of the team didn't notice Artemis' hesitation. Unfortunately, Roy did. When they got back to the cave, Artemis tried to sneak off to her room to be alone to her thoughts. Just as she made it to her door she was slammed against it by a very strong, muscular arm. She looked up to see the red-head she hated the most. 

"What the hell was that?" he asked calmly with that infamous smirk.

"I-I-"

"You hesitated putting the mission at steak but mostly putting yourself in danger" he said. By now he had his hands on Artemis' shoulders , holding her to the door so that she couldn't escape. He had his body pushed against her's pinning her there. Only now did Roy realise how much he enjoyed their intimate position and he relished the fell of Artemis' toned body pressed against his own but he tried hard to push away those thoughts as he couldn't like Artemis! She was his replacement and a bad one at that. Though she could use that bow and she was very good at hand to hand combat. No! Roy shoved those thoughts away.

"Why do you care if I'm in danger? I'm just the replacement, remember?"

Roy couldn't stop what he did next. He leaned in very close to her neck. But that was a mistake, her scent was intoxicating to Roy and it took all his will power not to smother her neck in kisses. He put his lips to her ear. The contact made Arty shiver and she automatically put her hand on his very hard, muscular chest.

"Maybe you're more than that" he whispered and with that he left Artemis standing outside her door, dumbstruck and missing the touch of Roy.

Artemis couldn't help but let the thoughts of Roy consume her for the next couple of days. She had always him but other feelings were creeping in.

Three days after the incident Artemis was still only thinking about Roy and what his touch did to her. She had never felt so weak yet powerful before. Black Canary was training with the team and, with both Roy and Artemis being archers, they were paired together for the team work exercise. There were robot bad guys attacking Roy and Artemis. They moved in sync , graceful and elegant, as they shot arrows at the robots. Artemis jumped and flipped over Roy while shooting a robot. Roy got distracted by how sexy Artemis looked while fighting, so he didn't notice the robot with a knife. The robot grabbed him and held the very real knife to his throat. Artemis noticed Roy's capture and just as Roy was about to get stabbed in the chest she shot an arrow at the robot and it hit the robot straight in the eye. The robot fell on top of Roy and Roy dislocated his shoulder on his fall down. Artemis and Robin ran to help Roy. They got the robot off him. They sat him up and prepared to pop his shoulder back into place.

"It's gonna hurt Roy. Arty can we find a way to distract him?" Robin asked

"Umm..."

"Quick.... I know! Kiss hi!" Robin said

"What?!?!" Arty shrieked

"It's the inly way to distract him! Just do it! It wont mean anything and he's out of it anyway so he wont remember it!" Robin explained. Deep down Artemis had no problem with kissing Roy but she was worried he would hate her even more if she did. But Robin was right. And Roy was out of it so he wouldn't kiss back so it wouldn't really count as a kiss.

Artemis grabbed Roy's face and pushed her lips against his surprisingly soft ones. She kept them there for 3 seconds. She was about to pull away when all of a sudden- bam! The impossible happened. Artemis didn't know how it happened but she was glad it did. Roy had started kissing back. He was out of it- but apparently not. Though Artemis didn't care.

Roy grabbed her waist with his good arm and pulled her into his lap, deepening the kiss. Somewhere, Artemis vaguely heard Robin popping Roy's shoulder back into place but she didn't care. All she cared about was the fact that she had her arms around Roy's neck and she felt her tongue slide along Roy's lower lip. Roy gasped, shocked that she had taken control. Arty put a leg on either side of Roy, wrapping them around his waist, pulling herself closer to to him, their crotches pressing against each others. Roy moaned which caused Arty to moan and she slipped her tongue into his mouth. Their tongues battled for dominance, Roy only just winning. Roy's tongue roamed every inch of Arty's mouth while she tugged on his red hair.

"Ahem" Robin cleared his throat. The both sprang apart, putting a lot of space between themselves.

"You told me he was out! That it was the only way to distract him! That he wouldn't kiss back! That it-it wouldn't mean anything!" Artemis exclaimed. "You lied!" she yelled at Robin.

Robin, un-phased by her yelling, simply smirked. "Did I? Maybe I did. Cause by the look of it that kiss definitely meant something to both of you. And you both looked like you enjoyed it" Robin laughed then left.

"I'm going to kill that bird!" Arty yelled

"I'm not" Roy whispered leaning in and pressing a quick kiss on Arty's lips before going to leave the room. But Arty grabbed his collar

"Oh no you don't" she whispered before smashing her lips to his, enjoying every second.

A/N: Okay so I love Spitfire and I think that Wally and Artemis should have been together forever but I kinda like the idea of Roy and Artemis together.(Although I hardcore ship Roy and Jade! ;P)
