Strange

After sitting on the floor for a long time I couldn't go back to sleep. I wanted to talk to Jaden. And when I say talk I don't mean argue , but just talk. As much as I wanted that I couldn't do it. Not yet.

It was 6am when I stood up and walked to my window to check if Jaden was even home. He was, but he wasn't sleeping. He was sitting on the floor, leaning his head against a wall. He looked like he didn't sleep for months. He looked at me and I quickly sat on the floor.
"Fuck", I whispered to myself. I don't know why, but I was expecting him to come over or at least call my name, but he didn't. He just closed the curtains. It's hard to admit, but I got upset.

Today is the day of the audition. I'm going to see Javon, Jayla and my mom. I'm really fucking exhausted. If I could do the audition some other time, I promise you I would do it better. Today is just not the perfect day, besides I don't have any acting experience and I barely read the script. The movie is called Big Time Adolescence. I'm auditioning for Sophie and Javon is auditioning for the main role, Monroe. I really hope he gets it, because there are some kissing scenarios and I'm more comfortable with him than with some stranger.

I did my makeup, dressed nicely and called an Uber. It got there a couple minutes later. I sat down and after 30 minutes we arrived. I paid him and walked out. The wind was blowing through my hair as I walked to the building. After I got there the first person I saw was Javon.
"JAVON!" I yelled. He ran to me and I hugged him tightly.
"I missed you Y/n", he said.
"We haven't seen each other for like a day Javon."
"I know, but still. Oh and Jaden is here, he just went to the bathroom. Your mom will arrive later", Javon said.
"What, why is Jaden here? He isn't like auditioning or something, right?", I asked worried.
"I invited him, I thought you two were okay."
"What do you mean? Of course we are okay", I lied and awkwardly smiled. Jayla arrived soon after, but Jaden still wasn't back, so I went to look for him.
He obviously wasn't in the bathroom, so that means he's somewhere outside. I walked out and than behind the building. There he was, lightning a fucking cigarette.
"What do you think you're doing?", I asked him. He flinched a little bit.
"What does it look like I'm doing?", he answered.
"Are you fucking mental, you can't smoke here. We need to go inside now, the auditions will start soon", I said and grabbed his hand. When we walked in I saw Griffin talking to Javon. Griffin saw me and I let go of Jaden's hand. I walked to him and we hugged. I saw how jealous Jaden was getting, so I just smiled to myself.
"You didn't tell me you're an actress Y/n", Griffin said.
"Well technically I'm not, this is my first audition."
"Well good luck than."
It was finally time for auditions. A woman was calling out names. Griffin and Javon both already finished auditioning for the main role, when I got called by my name. I walked in and saw Pete Davidson and some other people I recognised. After the audition they thanked me and I walked out.
"Sooo how was it?" Griffin asked.
"It was great actually, I think I can get it."
"That's awesome Y/n, I'm proud of you", Javon said as my mom walked in. I ran to her and hugged her. She was talking with Jayla and Javon so I sat beside Jaden.
"Hi", I said quietly.
"Hey?" He asked surprised.
"Do you want to talk?"
"Later", he said.
"Later."
