A Reunion Unexpected

Marinette remembers the day it crashes her life. The day she will visit the Manor for the first time in 5 years. Its been 5 years since Damian Wayne's death at the hand of his mother. The day Marinette found out she was pregnant with twins.

The Wayne's convinced Marinette to come to the Manor because they needed to talk.

Marinette moves to Florida. She didn't have the guts to live in Gotham or Paris. She visits out of state sometimes but away from Paris all possible same with Gotham.

Wayne's brother and sister try their best to make Marinette date again. Marinette wasn't having it at all. One person she wants in her life is buried in the ground.

Flashback

A 20-year-old Marinette came back from her workplace. Today, Damian and Marinette decided to tell the family they're expecting a child.

Marinette is looking at her wedding ring that took place 6 months ago.

Another Flashback

When they first met, they were arguing with each other; when they were 14. Marinette came to Gotham with her honorary Uncle Jagged Stones.

She didn't know what happened but when it was Damian's 15 birthday. Damian just kissed her and walked away. The same thing happened on her 15 birthday, but there was no walking away, more like a heated kiss.

This time Damian asked her out.

Time flew. Damian proposed when both were 19.

Jason keeps joking. "Who knew Demon Spawn will ever get married, let alone date someone."

They stopped kissing. Damian turned and glared at Jason.

"I will be back, Angel. I got to take care of something. Wait for me in our room."

Damian takes out his katana and chases Jason around.

You could say the best proposal ever.

End Flashback

Marinette remembers those times with her Shaytan (Demon in Arabic. I used google translate).

Marinette for inside the Manor. Looking around, no one was there. It was too quiet.

She went to the Batcave to see if they were there.

"Shay-" she paused at the entrance.

Every Batfam are looking at the body (except Robin) laying down on one of the hospital bed.

There it is, Damian, laying down with blood covering him. Marinette went pale.

She walks towards them, shoving everyone to get close to Damian.

She was shaking him. Not wanting to believe he was dead.

"Shaytan, Dove, Dami, wake up. Please, this isn't funny," Marinette's voice cracked.

"Marinette, he's gone," Bruce said, taking a deep breath not to lose himself.

"No, no, no. Dami can't be dead. We promise to tell you guys together." Marinette said in a low voice.

Tears were running down.

"Come on, Shaytan, wake up for me, please. You can't leave us, please, wake up," Marinette keeps shaking Damian.

"Marinette, he's dead," Dick said to her, stopping her from shaking Damian.

Marinette, looking at Dick blurry from all the tears rolling down.
