"Nothing lasts forever" is usually used while ending things with someone, but it's only a half-truth because memories last forever. That special someone is no longer with you, but those memories they left you with are precious, unforgettable, and painful at the same time. Although memories last forever, you have to let go of them to move on. It'll seem wrong and selfish, but clinging to the past might ruin your future. You can't make a memory disappear. Those special moments, those dreams that you dreamt about, that passion, energy, and love towards each other. How can you just let go of them? But didn't the other person let go of you? Think about it. They probably moved on and left you behind. Do you start hating them now? No, you won't be able to. The only thing you can do is cherish to memories and let go of them for good.

It's not a bad thing that you want to hate them but can't because you love them. No external force can convince you to move on. Somewhere in your subconscious, you are thinking of different scenarios and what would've happened if you didn't make any wrong choices. You try to move forward but all you do is dwell on the past again and again and again until it starts breaking you inside out. You freak out noticing how easily the other person ended it. You discover how easy it is to break relationships up and how hard it is to build one.

Life becomes hopeless for you. But wait, is it really hopeless? Describe hopeless. They left you drowning in your own tear, so just stop crying. They played with you, you're not a toy. Why is it that you can't enjoy those moments that you did before they came around? You made them your definition of love, happiness and joy and now that they're gone, these definitions start proving themselves wrong. What is the real problem here, you, them or your love towards them? None of these, the real issue is how or why did they gave up on you so easily.

Nothing out there can comfort you other than time itself. You see even though wounds heal scars don't fade. Finding someone special again seems impossible. This time you can't trust anyone easily. So how do you let someone in your life again? No, there isn't a way without putting any effort. Maybe there's someone out there made just for you but what is the probability that you're gonna find them? One out of seven billion. So take your time to go through all the stages of grief and work on yourself. Put some effort into making your life better, so that you can make your "The One's" life better.
