Being stuck is the worst phase of life. Even if you are damn sure that you love them, they aren't sure. Although, It's not true that if they don't reciprocate your feelings right away, it won't ever happen. Maybe it'll happen with time. But honestly, nobody stays just because of a possibility. Everyone needs surety. They don't wanna leave it to chance. It's either yes or no. There's no in-between. It's up to us if we believe in maybes or not.
The thing is, everyone's afraid of being stuck. You get left behind alone, feeling guilty about a hopeless possibility when everyone else moves on. Being stuck is the reason nobody believes in waiting for someone or something. But you know being stuck has its moments. Although it has lots of flaws, it can be a fruitful experience. Imagine if, being stuck, you get what you always wanted. Worth it, right? But what if it never happens, you don't get what you wanted. It wrecks you inside-out. You think that you are worthless, unlovable and a maniac for even trying to wait for someone. You see, you always try to hope for the best, search for the things or feelings that aren't even there. You try and try, hope and hope and it becomes living for you. But it doesn't take much time when that living starts turning into a suicide. It becomes scarier as time passes and you start losing it. You try to move away but you can't because you are stuck.
Yes, being stuck is scary but should we take a chance or not? The answer isn't fixed. If you truly love that person and can't think of spending days without them, you should stay, but if there's even a bit of uncertainty in your mind, you shouldn't. It isn't like they are all you'll have. You have a whole future. You'll find love again. If not, love will find you. It'll happen.
