Meeting Intimidating People

NEIL'S POV

The morning sun rose again, waking me from my deep slumber.I stretched, got down from the bed and was gifted with the most beautiful view infront of me of my girl ,sleeping clutching the fluffy duet as If it was a soft toy.
I went near her and caressed her hair softly, without waking her up , as it was really early comparing her time of waking up.

I went into the washroom ,smiling thinking of my girl , to shower and do the morning stuff.
It was  refreshing and when I was done showering and dressing, she still wasn't up . So I had to make the decision of disturbing her beauty sleep being sure she had slept enough.

I tapped on her cheeks lightly..
'Avni...avni...,wake up babygirl its time to leave the bed ..."
I saw her stirring but she didn't wake up..and after a bit of trying i decided to work on my last resort tht was a bit evil if you ask me..(smirk's evilly)

I went into the washroom and brought out water which i sprinkled over her face ...she stirred irritated and her face lit up with anger, she woke up scowling..
"what the hell is your problem ,you moron"..she growled and i felt like laughing seeing her cute kitten face.

"Woah..now that is not the language you talk in, with me..." I reprimanded.

"To hell with your bl**dy language..why did u wake me up anyway ..i want to go back to sleep" and she tried shifting from her earlier position..

"Oh hey noo...you aren't sleeping anymore ..comeon get up and freshen up ,remember we have to go to meet someone today.." i tried convincing since I didn't want her to see my bad side this early...

"No..am sleepy let me sleep peacefully,am not going to meet anyone..." She scowled pulling on the duet..

"God... Little girl, please don't test my patience and get up ..i promise i will let you sleep once we return..and even get you icecream on the way..would you like that?" I felt like I was talking to a little girl convincing her to go to school..but I didn't mind cause she was my Lil girl indeed.

"I am not a Lil girl anymore.." she said but i knew she was really contemplating her sentence and i felt like chuckling...

"Okay big girl now comeon getup ..we are going and that's final"
I had to get a bit firm in the end..she is a stubborn Lil girl..

"If you don't back away from your promise" she said finally getting out of the bed...

"Aye, who said I promised anything "i said teasingly but as soon as I said that she was getting back into the duet and i had to make  the promise for real..
"Okay okay...i promise we will get you icecream now comeon get ready and join me for the breakfast.."

I went out of the room fondly ,for once she wasn't being tough and i am loving this childish side of her's .
I sat on the breakfast table and decided to call the the person we are going to meet to see if the plan of meeting is still on,i had to make sure due to the line of this cryptic business.

It was the time for Avni to get a bit more involved in my family and know a Lil bit of me and my past and ofcourse not all of it cause something's are just not worth telling her , as she already have had a rough childhood growing up. But ,I will make sure she feels involved in my family and feels like home here which will be hers very soon as I m planning on never letting her go,ever.

As Stephanie brought breakfast to the table, i saw Avni ascending down the stairs with that lovely little outfit of hers.just seeing her face made so many emotions to bubble up in me, which was never the case before her arrival.
"Good morning Steph!" She chirped shyly sitting onto her chair.
"Good morning darling girl and to you too boss" Steph greeted teasingly..
Agh that lady..always a motherly figure..
"Did Niall come down stairs to eat?"
"No actually he went early today don't know the exact reason though" she answered a bit worriedly..
"Oh i will check up on him soon.. thanks Steph you can go back to your work.."..i dismissed her and soon me and avni were alone on the table..
"Come on avni eat up fast and we will be ready to leave.."  she nodded and got immersed into the interesting looking plate of breakfast .
