Avni

The car ride was so calm, with the only sound being audible that was of Neil's forceful breathes.
His grip was still tight and firm around the steering wheel and nostrils flaring whenever he breathed out the rushed air indicating his anger.That aura was enough to make my body go stiff yet shivering on those warm seats.
All the act of bravery I showcased last night was fading beneath the clouds of fear he was instilling on me.All the terrorizing thoughts filled my brain and with that the tears seemed to return to my eyes ,straining my eyelids and soon a drop trickled down my right cheek.In that blurry vision I noticed a pair of scrutinizing eyes staring at me sharply from sideways.Within a moment that display of angered emotion's developed into an almost devilish smirk.
Undoubtedly, this 'not so human' guy had to take advantage of my pity state in this situation.

Suddenly that deep voice spoke,
"Save those tears for the upcoming,missy.You
Should have had thought before pulling this kind of stunt.."
He said scarily calm,eyes straight on the road.

No,I was already on the verge of having an emotional breakdown and those lines coming out of the devil's mouth himself didn't help at all...
I gave up on controlling my emotions and a silent sob escaped my mouth..that should have explained the state of misery i was in but ........ he was not ready to see me giving up already yet, as his growling voice boomed in the silent car confirming that.

"Shut up Avni, enough with those tears,i haven't even done anything to you..., yet.."
And there, I was freaking out for real, thinking this psychotic freak must have planned of ways to torture me and those harsh words certainly were the proof of that.I was so sure, but not prepared and they say be prepared for everything,who is even prepared for their Doom's Day?

I got jerked as the car swiveled taking a familiar way ahead of that sharp turn,My breathe got stuck into my throat when I realised we were nearing the destination.
every second of the drive forward was killing me within and I had no other way but to suffer through it.
After a few minutes of successfully stifling a few sobs,the tires screeched responding to the forcefully applied breaks and the car came to a hault infront of that huge mansion.

He quickly unbuckled his seat belt jumping out of the car and walked towards my side to pull me out of it.
I made tortoise moves to delay the ongoing but to no avail..all my tries got ,was a challenging response..

"If it's taking you so long,you do realise that I can carry you in my arms,right?"

He said with a scowl, definitely his patience was running thin.

"Nu..uh..I can walk.."I stuttered stumbling out of the car.As soon as I stepped out his firm yet rough hands held my forarm tightly dragging me towards that huge gate.
Soon as i entered inside trying to loosen the grip all the way,I realised,I was being hauled towards the basement ..that very familiar dimly lit staircase which led to the darkness...the very haunting yet thrilling place.just thinking of it brought back those bad memories and tears to my eyes...
Every step sending shrill down my spine and my legs felt like wobbling.

"Please..please not there.."I tried requesting him, again.after that time,i can never imagine spending a day there ever again.

"I have to do this Avni,to make you realise the severity of the mistake you did.." he snappily warned jerking my hand forward..His scowling posture seemed no more calm but totally Fierce.
At that very moment,all the barricades broke down and
the waterworks started, this time with a full on force.his red eyes spit fire and his demeanour reflected rage stuck within..his hand still had a firm grip that kept tightening around my wrist on ever step.
no matter how much i struggled to get rid of that, it ended up with him clutching my wrists with a greater force..i constantly tugged on them to get rid of that grip and escape but all my efforts had no effect on the demon himself.He kept dragging me somewhere,i was not ready for this..I can never be.
That moment made me realise I committed a very dangerous crime in his eyes and now I was here,walking over the deathway and suffering the consequences under his rules.
