Prologue
This can't be happening..
"Can someone open this gate!" Ilang ulit akong sumisigaw sa harapan ng gate nila pero wala pa ring nagbubukas. "Nandito na ako! Where are you?!" I shouted desperately.
I quickly get my phone and tried to call her. "Please? Answer my call!" But she's not answering it. Called her again, but she rejected it this time."Ba't di mo sinasagot?" I whispered while staring at my phone. I don't understand what's the problem.
Maayos naman ang usapan namin kahapon ah? Nakasama ko pa siya ng matagal pero ba't ganito? Wala akong nakikitang mga rason para iwan niya ako. I don't deserve this, no! huwag mag-isip ng masama. I know na lalabas siya kakausapin nya ako.
"One more time, press the doorbell button and wait for her." I sighed and press the button.
"Again!!"
I pressed the doorbell countless time but still no one is responding "Lumabas ka please?" my voice starting to crack. "L-lumabas k-ka!"
My tears suddenly falling and trying to endure this feeling.
"Y-you c-can't do this to me, what did i do wrong this time?? " I can feel the lump in my throat.
I can't imagine myself without her, nagpapasaya sa akin tuwing galit ako. Sinasamahan ako pag may problema ako. She's always there for me, pero parang magiging alaala nalang lahat ng ito.
My life will not be complete without her.
"Excuse me po?"
Nabigla ako ng biglang may humawak sa balikat ko, napalingon ako at isang matandang babae ang bumungad sa akin.
"Kilala mo ba ang mga tao diyan iho?"
Tumayo ako, pinunasan ang mga luha ko. "Of course, that's my best friend's house." I said weakly.
"Kakaalis lang po nila kagabi, balita ko sa ibang bansa na daw sila titira." Bigla akong napako sa kinakatayuan ko, at hindi na makagalaw.
Ibang bansa? no...
"Tsaka an---" I cut her off
"NO! that's not true! hindi niya ako iiwan!" bigla na naman akong napaiyak."H-hindi t-totoo yang s-sinasabi mo!" Muli napaluhod ako, sa sobrang sakit ng nararamdaman ko.
She's trying to touch my shoulder pero tinapik ko lang ito."Please tell me you're joking!! I'm begging you, it's a joke right?".
"Mukhang hindi na sila babalik eh." She said in a low
tone. I looked at her and pity is evident on her face.
"No! Don't say that!" Bigla kong nasipa ang gate. "She
will back!" I whispered trying to convince myself.
"Rela-"
"STOP IT! Stop it!" Unti-unti akong napapaatras, while pointing at her."I know you're lying.."
"Hoy! Anong ginagawa mo sa kaibigan ko!?" Napalingon ako sa sumigaw, at mas lalong umiyak ako ng makita ko si Gavin. Matalik ko ring kaibigan.
I look at him while crying, ramdam ko ang lungkot niya. He's looking at me na awang-awa, Kaagad akong pumunta sa harap niya at nagmamakaawa na iligtas ako sa ganitong sitwasyon.
"G-gavin? Iniwan niya ako." he hugged me at mas lalong lumakas ang iyak ko.
"Tahan na, babalik yun." He said in a comforting tone as he pat my back trying to calm me down."You'll be fine.."
"I-i can't do this anymore."
I'm willing to wait for her, no matter how long it would take. She will back.
