Night had fallen,and the town was already up and ready for the carnival,hardly anyone was asleep they were either puking there guts out due to the excessive drinking that happened every year or getting ready to get excessively drunk.
Maddy was currently getting ready to leave her home,she was sat by her vanity doing her makeup.jeff sat in a chair beside her scrolling through his phone.
"Are you done yet?"
"It takes time to make this look good" maddy smirked pointing at her face.
"Like I've said you don't need it"
"You're so cute"maddy smirked.
"I know" Jeff rolled his eyes.
Maddy turned back to the mirror continuing to do her makeup,once she finished,she walked out her room Jeff following.
Her mother was sat in the living room by her father,she turned to the two sending them one last message before there night of doom began.
"Be safe"
"Yes,we will be"
"Back by 12"

"Maddy" her mother spoke sternly.
"1,I promise" she hurried out the home dragging Jeff along,if only maddy and Jeff had taken her words to heart.
They hopped into Jeff's car and drove away,they had already pregrouped everything. Pregrouped meaning they would travelling in a group it was the towns new rule,no one was gonna stay home away from the yearly carnival it was the best five nights of the year.
Maddy and Jeff parked getting out the car and meeting up with zach,kat,Jessica and justin.
It was a pretty small group,but it wasn't exactly there choice.
"Hi" jessica smiled a bit out of it.
"Hey" maddy answered quite unenthusiasticly.
"So,what do we do now?" Zach asked,he deep down wanted to ditch the group,he wanted to go find jules,she was a pretty cool girl and she seemed much cooler to hang out with than the people he was currently stood with.
"Part ways" Jessica answered.
"Part ways in two's,me and Jeff,Jessica and justin,zach and kat"
