Chapter 4

After parties are tiring.

The school fest went really well, so everyone was way more exhaustingly excited.

I was just too tired and wanted to go back home asap so that I could sleep already.

Thinking about sleeping made me yawn, hopefully no one saw it. Heck, I don't really care even if they did.

"Tired..?", I heard Sasuke ask.

I smiled and nodded, suddenly in a better mood after hearing his voice.

He went and announced that we're leaving early, took my hand in his and pulled me out of there - completely ignoring all the whining voices from his fangirls. Ah, I feel so special~

I smile like an idiot.

"Why're you smiling like an idiot that you are?", he smirked, still holding my hand in his, even though we're already walking side by side.

"I'm an idiot so of course I'll look like idiot, smiling or not", I smile even wider, drunk on happiness, just being able to hold his hand like this.

"So you admit that you're an idiot", he chuckled. I love him so much.

"yes, yes, I totally admit, I'm idiotically in love with you after all", I grin happily.

"Idiot", he smiled, holding my hand tighter.

Even though we won't ever be lovers, why do I still feel so happy and loved? I really am an idiot.

I just love him, and I don't ever want to stop.

I'm truly so blessed to have such a kind wonderful person as my best friend and so lucky to fallen in love with him.

This love might remain unrequited for as long as we live but knowing that I'll always have him as my best friend is more than enough to fill up my heart to the brim with happiness.

I love you the most, Sasuke, and I'll keeping on loving you for as long as we live.
